where do yall rank eminem as a mc / lyricist
me i think technically he one of the best like as far as mcing goes he top 10 but i can't put him over nas rakim g rap big punisher big l etc.

you are losing me with the technicalities.
you said mc/lyricist as in mc is a lyricist. I always though the word mc was used to refer an artist and a rapper to refer a lyricist.

99 - 04, I'd put him as the GOAT. Nobody could rap like he could when he first came out.

Yeah, that's asking a different question. Em listed some of these guys as being among his influences so it would make sense that some of his style is reminiscent of these other rappers' styles.
There's no way you could put him above these guys that you mentioned. He's got skill compared to a lot of what's out there today, but up against Rakim, G Rap and Pun-don't thiink so.
