There's room for him to grow and develop his own sound because right now I can hear he's heavily influenced bey emcees like MF DOOM, but that's kind of expected since he's 17 although dude's like Nas and Buckshot were putting out albums at 17 and bringing new dynamics to the game. He has skills though, but I'm not jumping on the Joey bandwagon just yet. Overall I do like the way he's not doing the kind of music kids his age are doing, but he hasn't showed me his uniqueness yet.
I feel you. I think he's pretty dope but there is a lot of room for improvement. I think he'll get there though..I have a feeling we'll be hearing about Joey for many years to come.

The kids lyrics are so clever! Alot of them fly over people's heads. Another young BK MC killin it is HD. This kid isn't known yet, he doesn't have a connect like Joey but I think this kid and Joey are one of the best out. They're both the same age and are from Flatbush!
