What do you have to do to sell in 09?
nowadays its hard as ever to sell records with the internet AND the weak economy. If you were signed to a major label, what would you do to at least break around 100 or 200k? I wont even say platinum because the only niggas that can go platinum are Em, jay, wayne, TI, kanye, Jeezy and 50 (who am I missing? lol)

so in 09, what do you do?

me?

1. let the internet work for me. create a buzz through myspace, twitter...\
2. get lil wayne's faggot ass on a hook. bitches and gay niggas love his scratchy voice blaring through the speakers for some odd reason
3. Do something to get your name in the media... sorry to say it, but some kind of publicit stunt might help get you name out there fster thn a hot single.

Same as every other year - make good music. Choose good beats and rap about stuff that people want to hear - having fun, partying, drinking, chilling, sex, girls, etc. Do not under any circumstances make depressing music or talk about weird geek shit.

LOL I've never understood why people like Wayne either - It's not that he has a bad flow, or lyrics...

But that voice - my god that voice.. It's all scratchy and dry .. not one audible note it's fucking awful.
