Big L was clearly better at punchlines and battle raps.

Overall, Wayne is better, more versatile and has released better music.

Big L is one of those dudes who is severely overrated on the internet.. probably along with Big Pun as well. They both have "funny" and unique punches that you dudes seem to love, but they are one dimensional and didn't release that much great music. Don't get me wrong, they were both dope.. but overrated and I'd take Weezy's catalogue over theirs combined any day of the week.

maybe at rap skills id have to say its a tie. when it comes to actual rapping talent...

big L might have been the best rapper of all time but he didnt make enough music. wayne has over 1000 good songs you could say. he has so much fucking music out and its usually free.

wayne has like 14 years in the game to big Ls like 4 or 5 years in the game.

wayne is better cause he had a chance to become greater. he isnt dead.
