I think the perception is that older rappers should be like 'old people', and get all senile, but thats our grandparents generation. The problem I have with Redman is not his age... it's that there is no maturity in his raps, which is why I didn't list him... he's like 38 and he spits with the substance of an 18 year old. I can appreciate his last album for what it is, but I'm still disappointed that he has shown no growth in almost two decades of rappin' professionally. You can still rap with the vigor of a young cat, like a Ghostface, but come with substance that speaks to how old you are and how you should be respected or something.

Yeah, I think the Game is a better rapper than T.I.
I think even album-wise, the Game edges T.I... T.I. has had a few great singles, though... but I kinda put them both in the same category. They stretch too much for commercial viability. I think they both should stick to hard, gangsta shit. When they go too commercial, their work suffers. T.I.'s last great album to me was "Trap Musik"
