today was my second day... I just never really felt like doing extensive time cardio on a weight lifting day unless it was an off day where I do 25+ minutes.


but I haven't felt much worse off... so gonna keep it up.

I always liked it it got me pumped for the workout sweaty and all that i begin all workouts like that and do it even on days that i dont work out works lovely for getting a more lean physique. i always take a water break after though dont wanna be under hydyrated.

I haven't touched any cardio. I put on about 14 pounds in the last 5 weeks and I can't really risk losing anything....I've been wanting to do something though, I'll prolly go hang the bag up and do a lil bit of anaerobics every week.

would you not be better doing the mile after your workout. i was always taught that cardio before weightlifting is bad as you can deplete your glycogen levels which then causes energy to feed on protein of the muscles. and catabolism is bad.

i jog for 10 mins after weight lifting and do my cardio on seperate days first thing in the morning. that is when i'm cutting of course.

I do cardio to warm up that stretch. Thats how I was trained at school. I either run half a mile or a 8 minute mile. Something that would get my muscles nice and loose but yet wouldnt deplete me of energy.

yah u could look funny with a big upper and average lowers. anways it dosent seem like the running really takes much of my energy anymore guess i got used to it. im gonna up the resistance come to think of it.

yeah I did about 15 minutes of the bike on an off day since tuesdays full leg workout.


and wow, I must say my legs, especially my hamstring/calves are very sore.

yeah if I was trying to make a point of RUNNING 2 miles, then maybe I'd make that a goal.

you run 2 miles in under 14 minues and THEN lift heavy weights for an hour or so routinely?


a 12 minute mile warm up gives me time to adjust and cool down within the 12 minutes, and i'm thinking even that is too much pre-workout if I wanna put all my gas into the actual weight lifting.


this is a fucking warm up to lift weights.



why burn myself out?

a regular person suppose to run a mile under 8 minutes...

that was back then in middle school...


i personally can run 2 miles in 14 minutes and still be straight 2 work out heavy..


think about it... if you do a crazy ass arm workout i bet you'll be tired BUT your body will still be able to do a crazy ass leg workout...


if you do a crazy arm workout I doubt youll be able to perform as usual doing chest or back excersize right after...




in other words...

running wont interfere with your lifts...

you cant tired your arms or chest by running 2 miles under 14 minutes.



im not sure if im making sense.. im no expert.. but its kinda obvious 2 me.
