Should you start taking protein? You already do!

Should you start keepin track of how you take? yes. Remember ATLEASt 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight a day, so you would need atleast 170 grams of protein a day and 3000-3500 calories. Eat every 2-3 hours.

As for the schedule, I wouldn't perfer that split.

Chest shouldn't get its own day, it's not that big of a muscle as say the leg.. I would do chest with triceps and do back with biceps and then do shoulders with neck and traps.

I would also hit the Abs everyday you work out. Leg has it's own day.

As for exercises I recommend you include:

Leg: Squats, leg curls, leg press.

Back: Pulldowns, Weighted Pull ups, Bent over rows, deadlift, seated rows.

Chest: Incline bench press, bench press, DB Bench press, Cable/DB flies, push ups.

Shoulders/Deltoids: Lateral raises, military press, front raises, behind the neck press.

Traps: Shrugs, Upright rows.

Biceps: Hammer curls, EZ Bar Curls.

Triceps: Skull Crushers, Tricep extension, overhead extension, weighted dips, close grip bench press.

dogg, why would you work chest a day after triceps?

you realise that the majority of chest push work utilizes triceps.

I could go on all day about your planned routine, but you should just listen to purple haze, the kid gave you solid advice.

purple, the worste advice that you gave is hit the abs everyday. They are a muscle just like everything else in your body and you dont want to overwork them.your abs are HUGE they are your core and stabilize EVERYTHING, would you lift your legs or chest everday? NO so why woud you do your abs?.

i agree with everything else that was said

a little abs a day keeps the fat away.

I work abs more like a muscle group about 4 times a week with weight, on off days without weight.

i switch it up.. i don't see a problem if you wanted to work abs every day..
