even if you ate some type of casein protein, or cottege cheese or a few glasses of milk or even a shake before bed.. think about it, you're about to go 8-10 hours without food or any nourishment.
that's the perfect time for your body to start using muscle for energy.
it seems stupid, but seriously man.. it's perfect to wake up, hit that shake and keep your body constantly anabolic, and go back to sleep.
and this isn't somthing I just made up, I've also read a lot of information from trainers suggesting the same thing. only their midnight mixtures contained more than just protein in it.. i keep it simple.
when you wake up isn't your stomach growling and you're hungry as fuck??? man, I sure am... this way I keep on a constant intake of food all day, keep my metabolism up.
