how long dose it take to get abs?

once i get my bf% under 10% how long would it take to get abs.. is it a long time thing or can it be done sooner than i think?

can it be done around 3 weeks?

dude you seem like youre really trying to rush through shit for some reason and its really not a good idea, youre just gonna end up doing more bad than good.

the time it takes to develop abs is the same as any other muscle. if you want strong, thick abs its going to take a while to develop them.

now i aint talking ripped abs here im talking about noticeable ones

im moving out to miami in may thats why i want toned for the beach and everything

im just confused about the whole process and dont know how much calories my body burns just for being there...... im mainly focused on belly fat

so start logging your calories, right down everything you eat, the amount of calories, and what the macros are

for example, 1 chicken patty 210 calories, 21 grams protein, 10 grams fat, 0 grams carb

do that for a week and see what your avg. daily caloric intake is then drop it by 500 and use that for your new daily intake. so if you take in 3000 calories a day drop it to 2500 and see how that goes. after 500 maybe start dropping from 100-250 cals so from 2500 daily to 2250 daily and then just slowly lower it until youre at the weight you want.

also just eat clean, eliminate starchy foods and sugar and keep your protein intake higher than your carb/fat intake for cutting. maybe something like 60/20/20
or 70/10/20

check out t-nation, they have an entire physique clinic which you may be able to follow and make use of. plus theres a lot of knowledgeable people there who know way more than any of us on RM.

With very strict dieting and cardio two times almost every day it took me about 3 months to lose some 30 pounds of fat and have a 6 pack. Now for me to get it back (my six pack) should take like a month or less of resistance exercise and cardio on off days.

well i think im going to change my goal weight to as long as my body fat% is low i don't wanna be a skinny muscle bounded guy more of a big muscle bounded guy nothing freakish tho..like if i was to join a fighting sport i would be classed as a heavyweight

id rather have lots of muscle with some fat over it like 210 with 10-12% bf than be 140 pounds ripped.

besides, everyone knows its easier to lose fat than build muscle. so if youre going to cut a lot of weight just make sure you arent going to turn into a pencil neck afterwards. maybe try a bulk/cut cycle, i dont know much about them but they seem to be effective so do some research.

first thing youre going to need to do is take it easier on the weights, you can expect to keep increasing load without increasing caloric intake which in turn leads to increasing bodyfat.

eat to a point where you feel satisfied, you shouldnt be hungry every waking second but you shouldnt be stuffing your face like a bulk either. after you find that start lowering the calories. and yes keep in mind if youre burning a lot more calories via cardio, like if you play a sport or something, then you can take in more calories..no, you should take in more calories.

dam dudes on that t nation website is going into cardiac arrest cuz i miss spelled a word ROFL

is what im eating ok.. i only eat one time a day and i sometimes barely eat breakfast this isn't really a diet i been eating like this for years the prepackaged meals for the southern fried boneless chicken with corn and mashed patatoes is 687 calories i was told to keep a 500 calorie deficit sense all im worried about is loosing fat and gaining muscel

could this been the reason i had sleeping paralys awhile back if you dont eat properly and exercize they say your body shuts down.. i woke up real numb i mean i couldn't talk i couldn't scream and i was just barely able to stand up this was for about a minute plus my deficit was to high like i was burning an extra 1500 cals

i don't want to loose mad weight right now i would look scrawny if i cut back 40lbs like i originally wanted to.. i just want to loose fat around the problem areas and then just pack muscle on, id rather be a lean 240lb than a lean 200lbs. id kill for a chiseled 240lb physique. i think my inspiration was when i was at a professional wrestling event and the announcer said i reminded him of brock lesner and i should get big and start training there.

he even offered to cut my tuition down.
