crunches for cardio or strength training

i was at the gym and i heard some guys talking about how crunches is the best cardio exercise to do, i dont doubt them cuz they were in pretty good shape, they also had weighted down jump ropes in the cardio section, i couldnt even get that thing over my head lol, i just joined so i got the tour today.. pretty decent gym they got a swimming pool, basketball court, slamball court/with the trampolines, i get mad competition to on the basketball court.. plus they have scheduled scrimmages and stuff.. @65 a month plus i can bring 4 ppl with me

and fuck no crunches arent the best cardio, they arent cardio at all.

stick to the jump rope and use that weighted one too if you can

dont do crunches unless theyre weighted or else youll just be wasting your time. if you want good cardio then run, jump rope, bike or whatever in interval sets

interval running is essential if you run and want to get in shape, i wouldnt say you have to follow that chart exactly but you really need to work different levels of whatever your doing in.

jump rope, you need to work in doubles, high knees, traveling, etc which is the same concept

and same with swimming

yea i live in the country... i fear running out here man snakes an shit lol.. plus very steep hills- which is an advantage.. plus if you make my neighbors chickens go off you might get shot..ill just use the treadmills at gym.

i was going to jogg for 5 minutes on treadmill.. then jump roap for 5 minutes then run on the treadmill for 5 minutes.. then to the weighted jump roaps, then finish with a 5 minute run on treadmill with a higher resistance, then go to the squat bar and pull up bar
