Winter GRB Rd 2: youngster vs Wird of Pley


- $1000.00 prize money will be donated by NDesigns Screen Printing
- $800 additional prize money will be divided up into the final round.



GRB - Winter Grand Royal Audio Battle 2006 Rules - First Round
- Second Round Audios are DUE Wednesday Night Jan 17th at 11.59 pm cst. Theme: up to 2-3+ Minutes must be about your opponent(s)
- You must mention their BOARD name(s). Must be atleast 2 minutes.
- If audio is not two minutes, you must contest it if you want a DQ.
- One mp3 File Must Be posted Wednesday Night Jan 17th at 11.59 pm cst.- We will not store any audio files.
- YOU MUST post using your board name that is registered to the match. Others will be DQ'ed.
- Voting for Semis will start once all verses are up.
- Voting links will be posted and votes will be shown.
- No Comments allowed on battle post until voting links are posted.
- Can post videos

i think yyoungster knows why he's losing...

but to show him whats what -

you used a lot of played out cire/wird references... a lot of personals everyone has heard a thousand times... the punches you coupled with them just werent to original cause we've heard it all before... going up against somebody with no life like wird, whom has battled every grb to date, isnt easy in that respect. it takes a lot of creativity and outlandishness.

other than that, wird has a very polished style, which out weighs yours. but we all start somewhere.

youngsta - erm again you came with some damn funny lines came with pretty good flow but i felt some of your stuff was a lil basic that you just pieced stuff together for it to rhyme not hating and if thats not the case then my bad it just seemed to be ure only weakness in that track but not a bad verse

Messiah what you need to understand is, these kids I battle in the early rounds spend time on their verse, because as you say I'm "hyped". They write record and try their darndest to win, I mean they spent 10 bucks they aint gone not give it their all and waste money.



I decided to write at 9pm on the night they were due and finished around 10:30. I aint trying when I dont need to in this stage of the tourney, I got lines written but I aint usin em when I can bullshit a shutout.
