GRB - Winter Grand Royal Audio Battle 2006 Rules - First Round
- First Round Audios are DUE Tuesday Night Dec 19th at 11.59 pm cst. Theme: up to 2-3+ Minutes must be about your opponent(s)
- You must mention their BOARD name(s). Must be atleast 2 minutes.
- If audio is not two minutes, you must contest it if you want a DQ.
- One mp3 File Must Be posted Tuesday Night Dec 19th at 11.59 pm cst.- We will not store any audio files.
- YOU MUST post using your board name that is registered to the match. Others will be DQ'ed.
- Voting for Semis will start once all verses are up.

Aight looks like im first up

Vetrano - coulda used a little hiss reduction, but the presense is good, flow is nice, punches and nameplay are coming rapid, thats good, beats nice, flow is still staying perfectly on beat, transmission line is hilarious, overall, it was a good battle track, next round might want to work on the hiss a little bit, i know uve been having mic problems, but u came hard kid.

Clutch - quality is a little weak, but i wont hold that against ya, punches are seeming very 'bubble-gum' i.e ja rule or 50, but if thats ya thing, i cant blame ya, verse isnt great, flow isnt as good as vetrano, beats a little weird for me, but your doin it good, not any outstanding punches tho.

Overall, the battle was good, but a bit one sided when you take a step back.

clutch - I agree with the bubblegum punchlines, but theyre punchlines which are dope. I'm digging your shit a lot more, you flow well, despite the quality.

gonna have to go with clutch with this one, the nerdy voice just slew my ears @ chris, sorrry dude.

chris.. lyrics were decent.. voice is kind of reminiscent of a teenage Cage.. beat change was kind of hot.. what beat is this? shit's kind of sick.. flow is pretty good.. kind of played it safe a little bit.. transmission damaged condition.. damn third beat was good.. you could've come a lot more hype the second part

Clutch = Flow is shaky.. delivery is kind of amatuer.. damn this shit was all over the place.. you're not bad, but you could improve on a lot of things. Lyrics okay for general shit, but not for a personal battle.

clutch...ya flow is descent...vocal quality needs some tunin...lines are ok, but nuttin really stands out to me...however, u were more consistant than chris. beat selection was aight...i like the way u came in, but got bored wit the track through out...

chris...honestly, i dont really have anything good to say about it. i never like to put rappers down, i respect all, but keep it real, so wit that said, i just think that entering this tourney is bold. u sound like u just started rappin...u fell off beat alot, lines didn't meet, punches were weak...beat choice...1st was good...2nd i screamed, 3rd, not for a battle...keep doin ya thing though...i sounded worse when i started...

Clutch - Sounds freestyled, I hope it was cause there was no real hard lines, quality was bad, your delivery has potential no doubt, but the way you attacked this battle of not careing , doesn't prove much. overall no strong attack, no real lines, a waste of ten bucks is what it seems cause i think if you would have tried you probably would have gotten this pretty easy.

Chris - Your style needs growth , you have no real strong lines, I mean you have better lines then Clutch though so i guess thats what really matters. , delivery is not very strong which hurts alot of your lines, as far as the impact of them on your opponent. But overall, since Clutch saw this match as a "Nothing Match" I guess we can just say you got this pretty easy in my eyes.

Chris. The beat choice and your flow, not a good combo. Your delivery lacks, but you had some potentially harmfull lines. Without the delivery, it osunded like a rap track. Quality wasn't that bad, punches were decent, and you have mad potential.

Clutch- Quality didn't help this track. The flow was nice, but sloppy in spots. Wouda sounded better, rehearsed and with better equipment. Punches were decent, and you sounded more aggressive thant your opponent.

Vote- Clutch, his track stuck out more.

both of yall's quality could be a little better but both verses were str8. i think clutch had too many lines that were simple and had too many "likes" in it. chris came as decent as clutch in my opinion but it can elevate during the tourney. ultimately i'm gonna go with clutch because i think his lines were a little bit more entertaining.
