Playstation Games Suck

I just sold my PS2 and about 20 games, and I looked through and realized I hadnt played any of them in prolly over a year.

Blah, I think sony has the worst games. All their good games get ported to other systems anyway. Except Metal Gear, and actually, the first one got ported to gamecube.

Gran Turismo used to be cool. But nowadays a racing sim is a racing sim. Aint nothing groundbreaking about the shits beside graphics.

Really all they got going for them is garbage like Crash Bandicoot and them Ratchet & Clank type shits, which dont interest me in the slightest.

Nintendo has Zelda, Mario and Metroid, not to mention Resident Evil.
XBOX has Halo, Perfect Dark and all the rare games.

Sony games are just more of the same to me. Whats the last truly innovative game anyone seen on playstation??

Ive owned every console, and I dont get into that gay fanboyism shit, I just dont see how people say they got the best games.

Im an RPGer so PS pretty much shits on all other consoles. XBOX only really had KOTOR to set it apart, Fable sucked and Morrowind was far better on PC. Nintendo had a couple like Zelda but it was pretty void of RPGs as well.

Final Fantasy was enough of a reason for me to buy PS/2, then there was Grandia 2, Dragon Warrior 8, Wild Arms 3. Also games like GTA were sweet, and though you can argue that they were on the XBOX they came out what 1-1 1/2 after they came out on ps2. there was Max Payne 1/2. Hmm, LoTR Two Towers and Return of the King, Onimusha 1-4, God of War, Tony Hawks Pro Skater Series, Twisted Metal Series, and i liked all 4 Ratchet games.

and i guess u cud say killzone even tho that game sucked

thats about it...and neither of those is worth buying a sony system imo...but if your into all that japanese RPG stuff then the PS is for you.

Yeah, forgot about RPGs. Not my cup fof tea. Not to mention, is Tekken really that popular? Isnt Soul Calibre better?
Gran Turismo has a huge following, but to me its like Tony Hawk, new games aint too different from the old ones.
Cant count GTA, since it gets ported to other systems, even though Sony gets it first.

ironically sony just lost the GTA exclusivity....GTA 4 will debut for both the ps3 and the 360 on the same day...thats a big blow to the ps3's exclusive catalogue...

.....if you dont like rpg's.......then it makes no sense to have a ps2 for nothing other then metal gear solid......you could make arguements for other specific games like ico or shadow of the collosus......but rpgs? fuck em...

real time > turn based or gui based fighting...

so in that case.....

oblivion > final fantasy...

i want to play the fucking game....if i want to read and deal with a story...ill play an adventure game.......fuck that bullshit walking around and a random battle screen pops up...that shit is gay......that shit was koo for the nes....and it was ok for the snes.......it should have been gone with the ps1......for real.....

Yes Oblivion does kick ass but the PC version Kills the 360 version. And Parasite Eve was more like Resident Evil with leveling than an RPG.

Personally to me RPGs are for the story and gameplay. Hell i havent played a Fighting game since WWF Raw or Street Fighter 3 on the Snes and i havent played a sports game since NHL 94. To me they just upged the graphics and its the same basic gameplay.

the pc version doesnt KILL the 360 version.......they are the same damn game......the advantage of the pc version is that its hackable and modable......

see i agree with the story part.....gameplay? no......not when there are random battles and you fight with a menu system........thats not gameplay........thats an artificial dice rolling system........its not that different from a bunch of nerds dressed in costume in a dark room rolling dice

i played fable crazy and that game is way better then Fag Fantasy(just jokeing lol pulling your lag)
american and eurapean RPG are better then japanes RPGs. and PC RPG's are 10 times better then Consoles. windows vista is gaming and will let PC games to be better and PC's in 3 - 6 mounths after PS3 PC's will pass all consoles in looks and game size, RPGs on PC is better then xbox and PS. dont get me wrong i love my xbox and am getting xbox360, consoles are great sport games and 1st person shoters and thats why xbox360 is better then PS3. if you want a real RPG get fallout the best RPG of all time.
