Fight Night Round 3 sucks...
I liked round 2, but the only thing that's better in round 3 is the fact they made it less easy to win with constant haymakers.

The rivalries are gay. My biggest rival is some guy that gets his ass handed to him with the quickness, while my good fights with Roy Jones get no special promotion.

the career mode is still broken......

its a better game gameplay wise.......

but career mode is still trash.....and the AI needs to be "smarter"

There are different parts of it that I like, but others not so much.

I think the game is waay too easy for one thing. I'm no big time game master or anything, but I don't have much of a problem beating people on hard (unless they make me completely change my style in the fight).

People like Ali STILL don't act much like Ali. I should be chasing him around the ring and getting jabbed like crazy, but I usually end up ducking haymakers until my counter hooks knock him down. Roy Jones is about the only person I've noticed that I've had to find a new way to get past his defense. Hagler too, but he wasn't much of a problem.

Plus I don't like how the career mode goes. Shit, I want to be heavyweight champ for a decade, not be moved down to the light heavys.

2004 was the best. Round 3 is alot better than Rd 2. Rd 2 was ok but the haymaker shit killed it. Only thing Rd 2 & 3 have on 2004 is that you can move and block.

yeah the gameplay is great
personally i liked the way the first fight night had you fighting, with some of the changes in the new ones but i dont like how the haymakers become unbelievably slow, i understand a slight slow down but they totally made it seem like a decade until it hits

i like how theres more styles/options to choose from and mix of styles
AI could be a little better, but for live im sure its great (havent played yet like that)

i understand the rivalry bullshit, thats true story
