I need to play a PS1 backup on my PS2

I got a CD-R burnt with an original Playstation 1 game on it, and I need to play the CD-R on my Playstation 2.

I looked at mod chips, swap discs, all that stuff, but I dont see the point in buying something expensive just to play this one game. I'm on about a $30 limit here.

Can anyone recommend me anything?

Also, I cant just go out and buy this game at the store for under $30, its not a game you can go out and buy.
