Any of yall still feeling the Halo series??
I used to love it, the first one was the best and the online mulitplayer in the second brought console online gaming to the next level.

but i copped 3, played it literally like 1 or 2 days.....then never touched it again......

not interested in the ODST at all.......maybe i'll give 3 another shot...but i've just completely lost interest in the franchise.......

what yall think about Halo now? Fell off, still GOAT console shooter?

Still on of the GOAT but Halo 3 was jus a lil bit of a lit down, but online multi player was insane and the Forge Mode

its one of the few games where i prefer the single player. never got into the miltiplayer, just didnt like how it plays.

halo 3 mulitplayer is fantastic. and odst multiplayer with the reforged pistol from halo 1 is just...firefight mode is awesome too.

multiplayer is where it's at for halo 3 & odst. team swat.

i still play it from time to time but the cod series just stomped on that, especially with modern warfare 2 coming out soon...bye bye master chief

It's the GOAT. Not only does it require skill to get your kills the game is still very simple to get a hang of. The only downside is that almost anybody you play online is insanely good. I remember when you could play social slayer to get away from teams full of 50s in every game but that's in the past unless you play big team battles. Griffball is badass and a great change of weather from the typical Halo gametypes and it's mind boggling they just don't put it on the playlist instead of just on double XP weekend.

I play it, but IMO its still COD > Halo

Bungie better unleash some good shit with Halo: Reach because all these FPS games are getting better and better like Battlefield (cant wait for that new one), Operation Flashpoint, Rainbow Six...and of course the king COD

Halo really got me back in to FPS's again after years away since Doom/Quake on PC .. I bought the xbox just for that game originally (after playing on a demo pod) .. Halo 3 was my first delve in to MP Halo and it was fun but CoD4 just did everything right (whilst the jumping in Halo kind of annoyed me) ..

ODST hasn't triggered any will to get it but I did have a few good hours on renting Halo Wars (solo only) .. when I get my broadband back I may get a cheap copy of HW but I'm going to skip ODST for Reach and get CoDMW2 in the mean time ..

after cod4 i never cared for halo again...i copped 3 and was bored by the campaign...played multiplayer for a while...but cod 4 just made halo pointless to me..

I just got tired of having to shoot someone a million times to get a kill...it makes snipers way too powerful because they can put anyone down instantly...i like instant results with almost all guns...a couple shots and your done...keep it moving...in cod4 i love taking snipers out with an m16...halo you see a sniper from a distance youd better make sure he doesnt see you

I think it takes a lot more skill to get a kill in Halo compared to COD. The power weapons are there for anybody to grab and it's a fight to get them and maintain them through the battle. COD is fun but it doesn't take much skill if any to kill someone.

This right here shows that you suck in COD, COD is much more fast-paced than halo and IMO requires more positioning, quick thinking/reflex, and more strategy.

Yeah its easy to get kills in COD but the enemy can quickly kill you just the same, also without UAV/radar in COD you dont know where the enemies are and a decent portion of the game is played without UAV/radar, compared to halo where you basically just follow the red dot (except for Team SWAT & MLG).

I like both games, i prefer the realism of COD though and IMO there is so much more in COD than in halo, for example in COD 5 the custom classes where you could play as an long range assault player with heavy weapons (STG or FG42, etc.) with one life and then a flag taker (extreme conditioning, flack jacket) the next the go for stealth (Thompson or type 100, silencer, camo, etc) or play as a straight up slayer (mp40, stopping power, etc)

odst completely destroyed the momentum of the halo series which was an average shooter to begin with. was always way more intersted in gow, halo as mindblowing to console only gamers but it was yawn inducing to pc veterans because that shit was not revolutionary by pc standards.
