well, i downloaded the demo today and went through it.......

at first shit was straight up garbage, the combat is weird as hell....the melee system is the wackest shit i've ever seen. THe shooting is lame too.....

but, it did get a "little" fun after a while, the story seems kinda interesting.....

the graphics are booty cheeks, so they sued Epic to do what to the game engine?? Shit still looks wack as fuck..lol.......

all around, plays a little better than i expected but still not to good. But it does get a little fun when you got 50 enemies or so comming at you

anybody else give it a shot?

What did you think about the E3 coverage of prince of persia? I thought it looked too simple, they just dumbed down the gameplay so mainstream gamers could pull off fluid acrobates throughout the open-world enviroment without dying. I'm very upset with that titles gameplay direction. I'll reserve any further judgement though until I actually play it.

prince of persia was never a hard game.......it looks like fuckin POP with a 10000000000 times better art style.......you liked AC's combat but hate the way POP's looks?

I actually liked Too Human. The combat is like geometry wars.

I'll be buying this or borrowing it from work, I liked it. That's just me, though.

Where did I say I hated the combat? I'm open to all different styles of combat.

What I didn't like as I stated quite clearly in my last post was how the acrobates use to take some skill, meaning you could mess up and die. But that nolonger applies here. So what I specifically didn't like so far was this new helpful AI gameplay function. I feel it's a cheat support for noobs. Perhaps you like having your hand held for you, but I don't! Noone said the other prince of persias were OH MY GOD HARD, what I said was this new co-op feature makes the gameplay way too simple. Meaning even more simplistic than it already was. And in this respect I'm disappointed about some things as is. I would of hoped they could of at least attempted to make this one harder, but I seriously doubt it.

I was kinda disappointed in prince of persia, till i heard about the boss battles. I've allways had that idea, of no fodder and only boss fights......only other game that i remember doing it was shadow of the collosus. So i think the combat is going to be upgraded, otherwise it looks ok...but i'm iffy about the lack of dieing in hte game.......makes it seem kinda cheap. Like bioshock

Exactly.

I remain a little skeptical about every fight being like a boss battle, But that was interesting to say the least. If what they say is true that every enemy you encounter is just as strong and powerful as you that could be dope. I guess it's sort of like fighting the big daddy in bioshock only every encounter. I do hope at the very least these boss-like encounters are different every time depending on the AI that's after you that would be more appealing.

Yeah, if most the game is platforming then having about 5 to 10 bosses should work out pretty good. I'm sure they are going to have totally different bosses....hopefully they are on some god of war level boss battles.....
