Ok i've never in my life played any of the guitar hero games, allways wanted to but shit was too expensive

but man i was playing the demo for rock band after work, the drum thing.....shit was fun as hell man

i was playing to a nirvana song i had never heard before........

i ccan't even imagine what it's like with like 4 people and shit doing it.......

rock band is shaping up to be a fuckin blast. and i think it'll end up being everything gh3 wasn't.

yeah..

it is too pricey though.. 150 for the drum set, and like 90 for the guitar.. are teh sets seperate from the game?

if so.. that's insanely priced..

the real problem might be getting shelf space for the SKU. this game is going to be physically huge and alot of eb's and other game stores are in malls, and often are in tiny spaces to save on rent. and this is definitely a game they'll want people to see visually. it's by all accounts fun as hell and i'd imagine you can tell just by looking. but getting even a demo set up will take up alot of real estate. bigger stores like best buy shouldn't have a problem with that though.

the price is still alot but i think if word of mouth gets around, it'll sell. not many people are buying this to play alone. you're going to have alot of friends splitting costs, short of joe schmoe freakshow who plays every instrument at once. this looks like the perfect dorm room game.

I played a demo of guitar hero at walmart a while back...it was surprisingly fun. I wouldn't buy it..but I got a decent kick out of it though. The guitar thing is cool. But yea, like Cane said....a lot of college kids play this in their dorms. They had actual guitar hero competitions at my college.

maybe i'll give the guitar hero games a shot.....if you buy one with the guitar do you gotta buy the guitar for the newer ones???
