Why does Half Life 2 STILL not have a date for the 360?
It's becoming rather tiresome, since it's a port and the conversion started way before the 360 was launched.

I've been told it's something to do with Halo, and Embassy mentioned that the first episode doesn't work on the 360 because of Halo...


..if so, that's ridiculous. Love it or loathe it, there's no comparison between Half Life and Halo. Half Life is the best single player FPS ever made. I'm sure Team fortress and Portal are no threat to Halo's multiplayer...

..fucking sort it out, or get Assasians Creed on the shelves.

I dont understand, It cant work on 360 cause of halo? And ya i've been waitin for this too, didnt wanna play the regular xbox version and didnt have a good enough computer. I still never touched this game.

I'm talking about the next instalment of Half Life 2. Apparently they want Halo 3 to come out first.

And Embassy told me that the original Xbox version wont work because they wont update it due to Halo 3.

its not being released because its being released with portal, episode 2 and the new team fortress......

they are still working on portal and the new team fortress.....so no half life 2


and your right....half life multiplayer isnt all that great...but the singleplayer is WOW

thats the way the cookie crumbles....

and they wont release backwards compatibility with half life 2 on 360 because the portal package will also include half life 2 in HD with enhancements.....half life episode 1 and 2.....and portal..along with the new team fortress....and there will be variations of the packages in the form of Orange or Black.......
