Resident Evil 5 and Grand Theft Auto IV

I may be late on this....but...I just found out that these games are no longer exclusive to Sony...they will also be made for Xbox 360. I don't care about GTA...but for Resident Evil...it sounds good to me. This console war thing is interesting now though...it's seeming as if Playstation is losing all of their exclusives to 360. All that is left is MGS4 and Devil May cry....in that case..I don't see the PS3 being worth buying until 2-3 yrs down the line maybe. I just thought I'd share that with those that may not have known. I do hope that developers stop being lazy though..because alot of these games just arn't fun...it's weird. I doubt I'll be buying another console though, ever,....360 may very well be it for me.

Resident Evil 4 is quite possibly the best game I ever played. Its the reason I never bothered to sell my Gamecube, that and the fact I wouldnt get shit for it anyway. Thats good to hear, I love Resident Evil games. GTA, ehhh, Im kind of bored with. They really need to innovate the series, especially with all the carbon copy games out.

I will regret not having Metal Gear, but word is that may come to Xbox360 too, just not on launch.

Also, the 360 version of GTA is going to have 2 missions (they say they are huge missions) for download on Xboxlive.

Im hoping metal gear comes to 360 though, even though I thought the last one was gay.

During Microsoft's 2006 E³ press conference on May 9, it was announced that Grand Theft Auto IV would be available for the Xbox 360 and that Rockstar will offer exclusive episodic content via Xbox Live for the Xbox 360 version. This had been confirmed by Rockstar, announcing two extra, exclusive episodes.[5]. After the press conference, Rockstar Games' parent company, Take-Two Interactive, posted a press release announcing Grand Theft Auto IV will be released simultaneously for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms.

Peter Moore, head of Microsoft's Interactive Entertainment Business division announced that Rockstar Games is working on two downloadable packs for GTA IV exclusively on the Xbox 360, which will probably be available within months of the game's release date. Moore described the downloads as "epic episode packs," and not just an extra car or character. A press release during the conference said that the packs would add "hours of entirely new gameplay" to the game. Industry sources have said that the packs will be almost as long as Liberty City Stories.[6]. There have been no details on pricing of the downloads revealed. The nature of exclusivity on these episodes is still in vague detail. It is possible that the Playstation 3 version may also include its own exclusive episodes and unlockable content[7], but Rockstar has said nothing on the matter.

im expecting GTA 4 to revolutionize the series just like GTA 3 did since its a full numerical upgrade and not some stupid subtitle like vice city and san andreas.

that is a good point

GTA3 was a monster step from GTA and GTA2

then all the subtitled GTA's came out, basically just different versions of GTA3 set in different times/places

GTA4 you would think was the next step up, so we'll see what they do
im looking forward, hopefully for good reason
