So is NBA2K7 worth getting ????

I all ready got 2k6 on the xbox, and noticed on a site they got 2k7 for like £12 on the xbox, so is it worht getting if i got 2k6 ????? even with these features......

My NBA - Plays more like the real NBA than ever before with new player and team tendencies, updated camera perspectives and new animations.
Real NBA Coaching - Take control of the floor with improved coach settings, new team playbooks and on-the-fly substitutions.
New Passing control - Innovative new system allows pass fakes, post passes and other ways to hit the open man.
The Association - Take control of the deepest franchise mode in the business now with multiple team franchise, 3 team trading, progressive fatigue and season awards.

if you like 2k6. then you'll like 2k7. it's not alot different. better graphics. new players. which i played 2k6 on xbox and 360. i've only played 2k7 on 360. but if you like basketball and want a basketball game. i'd def go with 2k7 over live.

yeah...I got it at the crib...every...and I mean every...NBA player plays like they do in real life...bringing more realism to the game...ths shot stick is my most favoritest thing in the world...and the graphics are freakin amazing...

I have been a Live player since 95, and I think I've had EVERY single EA Sports Basketball game ever........(thinks back to 89).......yeah I have, aside from NBA Live 02 and 07.

And umm.....I bought NBA 2K7 this year for PS2 because of the terrible reviews for Live 07, and especially because people at the main NBA Live fan website said it sucked and that 2K7 was so much better. So I bought it...and I donno....I think I am just so damn used to Live that I can't love it like I want to. For one, it's just little shit about it that is different and annoys the hell outta me. I love doin crossovers, and the right joystick is more than perfect on Live when it comes to doin crossovers...but I hate the way you do them on 2K7. I personally don't like the shot stick, probably because I still press that joystick to do a crossover, and end up throwin up a half court shot. The timing is a lot different for rebounds....the dunks on PS2 damn near suck....NBA Live 03's dunks shit on the ones here.

I do think it is more realistic than Live 06 and probably 07 are...but I still enjoy playing Live 06 more, and I play it a lot more than I play 2K7...for now at least. I don't think it's me being consciously biased for EA, but just the fact that I'm used to NBA Live's style so much, it's hard to re-adjust to something so different. So overall, I'd say play it for yourself and see what you like better.

I just played NBA 07 and it's not all that different from 2k5 to me which I have for PS2. I think the broadcasting sucks for 2k7..but the graphics are amazing. When you dunk on 2k7...for some reason you can't help but to get hype. I had Dwayne wade and I dunked like 5 or 6 times in a row off of fast breaks. It is definately fun..only because I am familiar with the series and I completely enjoyed 2k5...hours of fun. But, if you're new to the series..the game will seem groundbreaking..but...if you've played the previous ones....not too much is new really..except for updated graphics. I played NBA 2k7 for 360 by the way. It still beats on any Live basketball game...NBA Live is a dead series now. 2k sports does a good job on ALL of their sports games.

I have way more fun in 2k7 than last year and it's that small of a difference. I guess the gameplay, animation and playerlock made me addicted to it. The extra moves you get if you play street ball got me addicted also. I don't know, I guess I appreciate games more than the shallow gamers most buyers are.

Why the hell did NBA Live take out the playerlock?

i rented it, play'n on the ps3 now, don't like it, too accustomed to live, the shot stick is coo, but get tired of trying to chain moves together all the time...

was thinking about get'n college hoops 2k7 with reddick on the cover, but if it's the same as nba 2k7 i'll save my money...
