input needed for judging at 2v2 $1000 battle in san francisco

the promoter has the venue locked for July 8th (major san francisco venue, 1015 folsom), we're just waiting for the full go ahead...promoter asked me whether I thought the battle should be crowd judged or whether the mc's from Zion I, Lyrix Born and Rashad Asheem (I butchered his name, don't know the spelling, he's the emcee from crown city rockers) should judge. he also suggested the judges could go off the crowd response for the final round.

I really want to hear people's opinions, especially bay area/cali heads that would potentially be participating or attending the event. unfortunately it's at a 21+ venue, but everyone's opinion is of value to me and I want to pass that on to the promoter.

yo- as long as none of the judges are in any way affiliated w/ any of the competitors, I think having actual judges would be a good idea. I dont think Im the only one thats been the victim of battling the "hometown favorite" in Frisco and getting jerked.

yeh it should definetly be judges.. u dont know what the crowd will be like and people can get jerked easily.. forget going to the crowd vote at all.. good judges are alot better and if things are close then jus run another round..

damn, i guess i might need to hollar at Nut or Flo...maybe peter b. if hes wit it. this battle = no pass, dlor, or illmac bcuz of age (and I think joint custody is underage too...not sure tho), and no franco cuz hes outta town. i dont know about borat's status either. all the sf battle heads like uptown, dublin, infinite, oruku, pharoe c, and subverse will most likely be in the house. anyone from outta town plannin to come?

oh yeah...those crowd judged sf mc battles are so damn biased its ridiculous...theres afew cats who get their nuts rode til they rupture their loins...its ridiculous. get judges, and make sure they know about battling for real.

weak sauce elliot. if you´re gonna have a battle of this magnitude, don´t have it at a 21 and up club. and if you must have it there, work something out with the owner to allow competitors to be underage with a stamp or some shit.

Mark is 21, but Roch is 20 so yeah one of them is underage.
