this is from the infamous first TD3productions $500 MC Battle .. hosted by Mic Stylz and performance by OVM at the Peking Garden in Hadley, MA, March 22, 2003. This battle was PACKED to over capacity. (i miss Peking Garden, and i know DJ Hevan feels the same)

I never knew or heard of Grime before this battle, he impressed me beyond believe with his battle skills that i knew I had to work wit him and get him down wit TD3productions...

haha... peep the vids... Grime is a BEAST and a half in these battles... he beat Legendary Axe, Lord K, Jake the Snake, & Mizery to get to the finals where he went 3 close rounds vs. Nawledge... Nawledge took it though, but very close cuz they were both so worn out, it wasnt one of the better battles of the night... there was 32 MCs in this shit.. so it was tiring, but Grime still killed it

this was my first battle, EVER.....but Jake the Snake was just coming off a big win at Superbowl, he was the talk of Boston and I ended up beating him....these shits are about a year old now so I'm much improved, you'll see if the Superbowl 2004 DVD comes out, quality's good though......if you thought these battles were weak then you won't want to see the battle wit Nawledge, its all blabbing....

grime your a dope mc (in my top 5 of best battle mcs) nobody is really hating on you. Just the fact that the boston hiphop scene is pretty wack. I mean this my first time seeing Jake the Snake and if he was the best that boston had last year, then thats pretty sad. Jake the Snake is garbage. I think grime, your the best battle mc to recently come out of boston.

In real life I would also say you suck. Nothing against you, Grime. You seem like a cool cat, I just happen to think you suck. I'm worse than you. You would most likely beat me in a battle right now. And I'm on the internet all the time, err was for the past few months cause I didn't have shit to do. I have been out of school for that long, all my friends are in school and have jobs. I pretty much just sat around all day and slept and posted around on the net. However, I do post a whole lot, thats because I want to. Not hard. This is one of my longer posts, as most of them are pretty much me chiming in with comments such as "You suck.". Not very time consuming. Eh? This post is getting too long, peace.

Most of you seem to all be basing Jake The Snake on the one battle you just heard. I watched this kid win superbowl in '03 and he definately deserved to, beating KT in the semi's who is one of the most respected emcee's in Boston. Also most of you that seem to be hating on Grime in this post will hopefully be woken up when the superbowl dvd comes out. I like grime but I didn't expect him to do as good as he did at superbowl, and he definately impressed me there beating nocando, and Dos Noun... I mean those aren't easy bye's.

They weren't jocking him at superbowl, he got boo'd like everyone else did ( I think).
