Why all the hate for this album? I listened to it for the first time in a while the other day and there are some REAL good songs on here...

i was dissapointed by the great depression. who we be is one of my favorite songs ever, but the rest of the cd is ehhhh. when i first heard the song who we be come out, i thought dmx was going to be like he used to be. from that song on, he's been on some weak shit. crack didn't help him too much im guessing :/.

GD isn't an album that you can sit and bump...You have to sit down and actually listen to the content of GD to appreciate it. It is actually one of my favorite DMX albums just because there is a lot of deep shit on there.

I'm pretty sure that Grand Champ sold more then GD everyone knew that GD was a horrible album that's why it only sold 3 million shit DMX probably thought GD was a bad album after he found out how much it sold and when he listened to it.

There was nothing special about GD. It had a lot of filler in it and the title was on point cos it makes you depressed when you listen to it. I don't like it.
