On hot 97 in New York Ma$e wuz on radio talkin' and tha phone rings at tha station and Cam'ron starts talkin' about Ma$e and told Slay that tha reason why Ma$e left New York because he wuz bein' extorted and Jimmy Jones called Ma$e out and called him a gospel rapper and as long as tha Dip Set runs Harlem Ma$e will neva be welcomed. One of my bois from NY told me that and It's been on tha Source and XXL pick it up.

whats the deal with Mase and Dipset, I really don't pay any attention to Mase and I just listen to Dipset music, but thats it. I thought Him and Cam was bois? Can someone fill me in?

Camron and Mase used to be boys... they grew up together.. best friends and everything... camron did horse and carriage wit mase on it.. mase wanted 50,000 for the appearance becuase he didn't want cam's label to take that money and waste it on themselves (or so he says). I think from Ma$e stand point Cam is really buggin Ma$e says that the record label had money set aside for the collabo so Ma$e says too pay him for the collabo and we'll split the money. Cause if he did it for free Ma$e didnt want to see the label just keep the money and go to Cancun or some b.s., So Ma$e says thats where the fall out came from. But I think it's different cause Cam keeps saying Ma$e "left" them. To me if you really peep the interview Cam feel hurt that Ma$e abadoned them. Cause Cam even admits Ma$e got him his deal so too me its a problem outside of industry. But it just make me mad that Cam'ron girlfreind (Jim Jones) calls up first on some dont talk about my man type shit when Jim Jones wasn't on the radar at all back then. When Cam calls up "second" hes more composed cause he knows where Ma$e's stuff is coming from whereas the idiot just started yellin and what not.

In the end though I think this is a needless beef and if Cam dont like Ma$e and vice versa they need to keep it outside music cause the realm dipset in just dont sound right going after Ma$e "like they doin".

For Real - Did He Expect An Established Artist Like Mase To Make A Song For Free When Cam Was Gonna Profit Heavilly Off Of That One Song? 50 Grand - That Ain't No Kind Of Appearance Fee - Sounds Like Mase Did Cam A Solid By Lacing A Verse For A Reasonable Fee.
