400-600 for subs/amp

I need some help man, i know there has been a million of these threads created but i got a little bit of a different story.
My stocky speakers sound GREAT and my 6x9's hit, everony ALWAYS thinks i got a system when they get into my car. I want to get 2 12's dont need anything SUPER loud just want REAL clean sounding bass. Im looking to spend around 500 for a sub and amp. Anything wrong to just adding a sub and amp to my system? I already got a pioneer premier head unit. Get back to me, thanks for the help, Dan B

Unless your in a luxury car your speakers can't be that great .. buy new ones and get an amplifier to amp the speakers .. then get a sub and amp that as well .. by amping the speakers the lyrics and such arent as drowned from the sub because most of the time bass overpower the song and all you hear is bass pounding with the sub installed

400-600 is a descent price range .. and you'll get descent shit or a little lower than that

800-1200 is the better shit .. 200-400 amp 150-300 Sub 100-150 Wiring 80-120 Speakers 100-200 Speaker Amp

ive been to about 5 car audio shops, and ALL of htem told me i wont be able to buy much better speakers then what i already have they are CRYSTAL clear and real loud. i just reallu need a sub and a amp

Im telling you .. get some Alpine speakers and Amp it and you will be blown away .. literally

i had a bose stock system that sounded sick, but when i got an upgrade to my boston acoustic speakers with alpine amp (70 watts 4 ways) it was perfect. specially since u want 2 12's..... that will drown out what u think sounds perfect now...

but if you insist atleast get some jl audio's they are perfect combo of clean bass that can hit hard and is not that pricy.... i advise getting a alpine deck or one with sub control on it so u can turn them up or down
