^ebay. i was stupid enough to go to a junk yard for a stock intake for my 92 teggy when i could've just gotten a aftermarket one off ebay for only a few bucks.
and for the guy that only has 1k, you can NOT get something 100% reliable for that much. you'll prolly end up getting something u'll constantly have to fix, especially if u end up gettin an old car. if i were you, i'd just wait til i get more money.
and to the guy with 5k, get a honda man, the best car for your price range, reliable, reasonably fast (way better with vtec), great handling, great mpg, overall best car to get for about 5k.

What does cubic centimeters mean? I know it has something to do with the size of the cylinder, but I'm not sure what.

The letters "cc" stand for cubic centimeters, which simply tells you how big the displacement of the engine is. You can compare it to cubic inches in a car. For example, a 125 cc engine is small, a 250 cc engine bigger and a 500 cc engine waaaaay bigger. The significance of it means - normally - that the bigger an engine is, the more powerful it is.
displacement: Engine displacement defines the volume in cubic inches, cubic centimeters, or litres that is displaced as the cylinders are moved from top-dead-center to bottom-dead-center.
To find displacement:
Multiply the bore area times the stroke then multiply the number of
cylinders

About how much would it cost to get a car repainted? Like the paint job's okay.. but it's black and most of the miles on my car are highway miles so it has the little paints chips from gravel and whatnot.

And with the cables you can get all that shit, along with spark plugs and silicone kit of your color choice at a local pepboys for cheap and it makes your engine look nice ... just dont change the coolant hose .. its better off stock

hahaha.. omg. this remind me of the part in Clerks when the guy comes into the convenience store and asks if they sell hubcaps for a 1964 Pinto hatchback.
