Anyone driven one of these? Own one? Know someone who does?

For such a small car it packs quite a punch, thinkin about getting one.

I really just hate the look. Looks too much like a cavalier to me.

You should check out a G8 GT or GXP, much more of a nice class DD.

However, I will tell you that the Cobalt SS turbo (the new one, not the s/c) has run a 13.3 at the track and has done really well at the European circle tracks.

the 2005 cobalt SS I drove was ok at best..... better than the 2005 GTI I test drove IMO... the chevy dealer tried to tell me it beat a 05 WRX... so I went to the subaru dealership and drove the 2005 WRX and I must say... WRX FTW.

The new Cobalt SS is said t0 be 260bhp turbocharger. Dont know if its out/true but sounds tasty.

I had a cobalt ss to replace the trailblazer my ex totaled..

when I sold my grand Prix I kept the cobalt, and traded the cobalt for my magnum...


it's a fun car to drive cuz it's fast and maneuvers pretty good but it's a small car and I'm 6'4"

Get the G8 GT. Its pretty godly for what it is.... I drive them at work alot.

I don't have any hard data, but they are supposed to have been selling pretty well considering the shitty economic times. I think I read something like half of production was sold? I'd have to look into it.

The GXP is going to have the Ls3.

I hate to say it, but SLP is going to be releasing a FIREHAWK version of the G8.. I shit you not. They are gonna be a high end version of the G8. Apparently they will be be offering performance packages under the firehawk brand name. One of which is a supercharged version completely warrantied. God knows we'll never seen the firebird again. Can you believe that? I saw pictures at ls1tech from SLP marketing dept.
