Im getting a daylight pic next week. I do use a clay bar and a detailing spray, as well as a tire shine spray. Im an asshole about keeping my shit clean. I tore a buddy a new asshole for playing around and pushing on the side to rock the truck.. lol

I was like "hands of the fuckin ride, I just waxed that shit!!"

yeah it looks smooth.

hell yeah! i hate if somthing gets fucked up after a detail! that shit takes mad patience and effort by myself without a orbital!

I'm switching up my strategy, gonna try the full Meguires product line for my next full detail, hopefully this weekend if i can get it on time. ordered their clay/wash/NXT GEN paste wax and just gonna hit it with my ICE polish. also gonna grab their leather cleaner/conditioner.

usually i use the MOTHERS line. will likely post my results.

i'm pretty sure taking care of you paint helps resale value not to mention awesome visually appearance exterior and interior.


i consider myself a good detailer. i keep the sunset orange metallic looking right.

yeah I have a plush mitt, but I find the quick detailer takes way too long to wipe dry with it. I think the mit doesnt absorb as well, so Im changing to a microfibre cloth. :D

I've just never been able to tell the difference between a car that's had someone washing/waxing it for 3 hours and one that went through a carwash for 3 minutes.

Plus, after day 1...you're back to where you were.

not entirely true, with a good wax/polish, you will have water bead off, as well salts & minerals wont be as likely to rust your shit up. and it looks nice longer.

I live in AZ firstly.. i want all the UV protection I can get.. not to mention I like the smooth deep-wet look with an intense shine.

no swirls, no watermarks.

not only will rain bead up but it helps to keep dust off and helps seal and protect it. especially here where we have no winter and only sun/dust. we have a lot of minerals/dirt in our rain also.. if it rains and you dont wash quick and have your car in the sun, you risk the sun leaving water mark damage.

damn if I had to deal with winter salt and shit... damn that would suck.

i can safely say my car has never seen a winter and is garaged.

i dont mind being lazy and going to a electronic wash or quick detail once in awhile.

but nobody does my car better than me!

the labor sucks.. but to get the same level of quality and work that i'm putting into my car... i'm sure you'd pay at least $200, my local detailer wanted 100 bucks just for a clay.... thats just rediculous. and i'm assuring myself the best products. and i know that i'm gonna be a perfectionist with my shit.
