Now keep in mind.. WD has a different angle then every other event we throw. Its not only to make big match ups, but to unite the worldwide battle scene while creating the same calibre of match ups with the talent that's willing to travel. This event opens doors for many mc's/leagues and sponsors.
An event like Blackout2 or Vendetta would be the compared to the Super Bowl, where World Domination would be compared to the World Cup in today's battle scene.
Starting to make match ups now and really wanna have everything 100% confirmed as soon as possible.

With KOTD becoming increasingly North American, rather than Canadian, the WD events are a chance for some cool matchups which otherwise wouldn't happen. So if you don't want battlers from all over the world, there's lots of other KOTD events where such isn't the case.
So as for the event itself, I suppose Bowers is likely, Nils is all but confirmed, Manaz is said to be coming. Drop some hints Mr. Ganik
