look at how many times diz defended it in cali. none because they're basically doing 1-2 small events and 1 big event per year. whereas the # of canadian events are a lot more. im sure they even frowned when hollohan chose on a whim to put the chain up against the saurus because they were thinking they would have to spend $ on a plane ticket for every title match

Sucks for Chedda though. Sure, he got a by into the Finals but the odds were stacked against him.

It makes a Caustic vs Chedda number one contender match actually make more sense now even though it's after the fact. There isn't really anyone who is a top contender for the title at this point anyways since it probably would be Pat be he probably still doesn't want it.

It's not like they have more than a couple matches a year. Last year was twice and the year before that it was only once.

It's more because Organik has said he wants it to be defended in Toronto since it's called "King of the Dot" than that it isn't feasible.

Since there is a Californian division and it's reasonable to think their may be more Californian champs in the future, I think they should have title defenses in Cali. Not on a whim like with Hollohan but planned ahead of time.
