She must've assumed North America in general, which is still a pretty goofy analogy.
It's bad taste anyway you look at it imo however I think it stands out as particularly harsh for most people considering that the only real difference between referencing okc or 9/11 and sandy hook is the systematic targeting of little kids rather than indiscriminate mass killing. The media vultures circling the event and feeding off it to address other agendas is far more disgusting to me than a twenty year old kids punchline in a rap battle...

I dont know. certain lines like that rub me the wrong way and I dont condone, and its obviously reprehensible when you break it down but this type of content in battle rap is somewhat par for the corse.. this isn't exactly high brow entertainment, despite the frequent advanced lyricism and fleeting moments of social consciousness ..
