imagine a cooking show, where chefs create three dishes to satisfy halls full of people. some of these people don't eat meat. some are lactose intolerant. some have serious allergies. the chefs are aware of this risk but still make their three dishes attempting to satisfy as many people as possible.

now imagine that the people for whom the food was made weren't allowed to judge the food. instead, 5 random high school dropouts wearing XXXL t-shirts and fitted caps and are in their mid-30's, still pursuing a rap career get to judge.

does this system make sense to anybody?

I agree battles shouldn't be judged, its too hard to catch EVERYTHING live and on the first go. And tbh half the time besides a select few judges (rocky, knamelis,saurus) are fucking horrible and have no idea wtf they are judging a battle on. Jus have the battles post em up and let the fans decide

Exactly...you guys are meaning to tell me if The Sauraus or Bender were judges you'd be upset? What if Raekwon was one of the judges in that Cortez and Hollohan battle? I would most certainly respect his stance over anyone on this board any day of the week.

I would love to see battles go unjudged. Organik can put polls up on his site, Smack on his, and anyone else etc and we, the people, can decide who wins through voting and discussion

I said it for a long time. Fans are the only suitable judge for anything. They will decide no matter what the decision is at any event. Fans have the final and ultimate say, therefore they should be the only judge for any battle.

Unfortunately, until sites can figure out how to make secure polls, or be able to count fan votes without cheating, it might be a difficult process, as we have seen polls even on this site get swayed by people making fake accounts just to vote for their favorite battlers.

Someone needs to figure out a new way to get protected votes from fans, where cheating is limited. There are sites where it IP restricts someone from revoting, or sites where u must register and autheticate ur identity be4 u can vote, hence limiting how many accounts a person can make.

I always thought about doing text voting, where the person is charged per vote. Charging for a vote will slow down someone from trying to cheat, becuz there is a cost for over-voting, or u can block revoting as each text is unique to an identifiable phone number. It can also add new revenue for leagues, and that is always money in the bank. $$$$$$$
