what other music do you listen to apart from hip hop?
when i was younger hip hop was all i listened to and anything else was faggot shit.. Typical kid identifying with it.
Now i dont listen to hip hop much at all.. Shit varies day to day.
Im a massive beatles fan.. Love santogold, lykke li, most diplo production.. Hendrix, the ramones, the doors.. Love a bunch of electro like justice, cut copy, bloody beetroots etc..
Indy rock shit like temper trap etc.
Its all good
But i get the biggest stiffy over children choirs, or children in general

Lots of reggae, Jacob Miller, Eek-a-Mouse, King Yellowman, etc. Lots of dubstep and grime, but pretty much exclusively at the club. Some noise, Do Make Say Think, Fuck Buttons. Indie shit like Neutral Milk Hotel or Animal Collective, Grizzly Bear, TV On the Radio ...
All types of music are cool.

grew up listenin to a lot of 2nd/3rd wave Ska, alt rock, punk, etc.
Lately been goin through a lot of the cure, joy division, the church, depeche mode, and that kinda ish. I live in Portland so lots of indie rock and yeah, basically anything you'd expect a scrawny white kid from the burbs to be into.

I'm a big crate digger.
70's Jazz/Fusion, Latin Jazz, CTI records (Bob James, George Benson, all those fools), Chick Corea, 70's funk/soul, even some 'new age' like Manheim Steamroller and Paul Winter has it's moments (good samples every once in a while). Rekkids...I can't get enough. I have probably over 1500 on vinyl and that's with trying to control myself with my habit. If I had my way I'd have so many more than that.
As for new stuff...
Radiohead is cool, Portishead, Massive Attack, Tortoise, all of that shit...

I still listen to predominantly hip hop...
Sometimes I put on bullshit 90s bubblegum pop or DDR songs, but don't tell anyone.

roots, lover's rock, dancehall, and whatever rock music bubbles to the top on my non-rock fan radar (muse, the killers, aqueduct, kings of leon, etc.)

The word without the T refers to a medication which I assume is spammed here often.
