Really I think Dirtbag Dan and Tantrum and some of the other guys are good MCs, but I imagine it would be a one-sided battle.

I think Fredo or Locksmith would be good. The sad thing about being Real Deal right now, is he's proven himself in ways where I think a lot of top tier guys who only do promos are not going to want to appear to take an L, so I imagine a lot of guys are going to cock block his success and not accept saying he's not "well known enough" or whatever.

Real Deal vs Dizaster would be an excellent battle as well.

Good shit im glad cats realize how ill u really. We spoke about people sleeping on u and Ex-i (which i still think people are sleepinggg heavyyyyy on Ex-I cuz he is a beast THUNDER HUT) out side during a break at BOTB4 and you had an amazing performance and been on a streak with them. I hope u get who u want to battle and i really hope u get a battle at BOLA. Especially since Fresco cant make it u need to be a part of that NYE in LA Madness vs Marv Hollow vs Ok those 3 reasons alone.

Wellme and Deal already chopped it up about this and I think he has more than earned whoever he wants to face. The problem is always either some folks have other people in mind or the financial logistics of makin the battle happen.

Nonetheless i'd say three names that I'd like to see are freddo, disaster, and saurus.

I'd rather see him battle Illmaculate than TheSaurus. I don't think he really needs to "redeem" himself after that Scribble battle, because it's pretty clear that he's playing a different game right now.

Just a few things I've noticed in GT. People can vault above others without beating them in a systematic kind of way. For example I battled Rugged who I thought was very dope and alot of people asked "why". To me it was because he deserved that oppertunity. Dizaster battled Everybody knows on the same day as Illmac, why, because Diz thought he was dope and figured fuck it. In the midwest for example, I battled and beat Fresco who beat Moodswangz, does that mean I should never have to battle Swangz? 9DM is and has always been by far the best in that division, but he still gave others the oppertunity. Of course I will eventually battle Swangz and stand a good chance of losing. I thoroughly understand people have names and reps to hold to. I'm not saying you should take all and any challenger but how can people like ascend to the top tier without a shot. I do realize how hard I have worked to get where I am and how hard others have. All I really want is the oppertunity to ascend like everyone else. Take that how you want but it's just how I feel. There have been alot of very good valid points made in this thread. As far as my average look, Soul Khan, Dirt, Rugged, and Storm all had amazing lines and angles imo. I do agree that I am a little bit more difficult to write for but people have done well. As far as people worried about taking an L, I couldn't agree more. I thought so hard about it on the plane trip to Florida. I knew how good Rugged was but if I were to lose there goes a whole shitload of oppertunities. In my eyes though if I show up and battle with the same advantages the other person has and lose then they deserve that spot. Anyway heres how I feel about the people that have been mentioned most. Heres the order I have for most to least desired.


Dizaster: I just think it makes so much sense. Stylistacally we are very alike, record is similar, and it is a battle that would bring out the best in both of us. This would be my number one choice.
Okwerdz: For pretty much the same reasons as Dizaster. This would be my second choice.
Hollow Da Don: In my opinion the best in the world.
Thesaurus: Jason Priestly gets revenge in 90210!
Sahtyre: Record was and performance wise this dude should be battling the best in the world. He is a beast and we both took similar paths to get where were at.

Those right there would be my top 5 that I would most want to. For those 5 battles I'd be willing to travel for all of them seeing as I have no home field anyway.

Fredo. I think both of you guys really need exposure to "top-tier" cats, and it's sad to see both of you guys viewed only as "top-tier bound" by an odd, minority of people. What I pretty much mean is: the overall acceptance of both Fredo and Real Deal as top-tier battlers does not seem to be the general consensus in the Grind Time community. Or at least, a very small number of people are unaware of your guys' dopeness.

I want to be able to REGULARLY see Fredo and Real Deal on the same "top n battler" lists that Diz, Saurus, Illmaculate, Dumbfoundead, Nocan, Hollow, Okwerdz, yada yada yada that all the other regular top battlers are seen on. Both of you guys would definitely have something to show if you were to battle.

Someone like Dumbfounded is such a beast but stylistacally is such a clash. He's so good but it would make the batle that much more subjective. I am actually planning on going into St. Louis to battle Aye Verb at some point after February as a word war/GT small event.

People like Mac Lethal and Nocan are dope but it just seems like such a shooting for the stars type thing.

Fredo is an absolute animal. To be honest the only thing is before I battle him I just want those 1 or 2 shots at a few other cats.

9DM in my opinion is an absolute savage to and would rank around 6 or 7 in my list with Pat Stay coming right after.

Who wouldn't want to battle Illmac right now haha.

By the way I definately appreciate all the feedback.
