Honestly the only dude in GT who has a good track record is Hollow (Madness too but he hasn't really battled street cats) Hollow has battled everywhere and has earned his stripes in the battle game. I think Hollow needs to beat a Smack/Fight Klub rapper with a significant name in order to get a match with the suppose NY heavyweights.
That's not to say other rappers in GT don't have good resumes but most of their stuff is Scribble or GT where as that Street stuff isn't on there.

Solomon does have good record, but getting lyrically kicked in the nuts by an australian child balances it out. Your not too good to battle Okwerdz. Get yo ass in the ring!
Thanks.

You jokers on here give the NY "heavyweights" too much cred. I'm talking strictly battling. I don't care about label deals and all that nonsense. I'd give more cred to someone that's had more opponents and different types of battles. How can a dude be a legend if he only battles the same type of person once a year?

the dipset rebuttal by Iron to Pass was one of the best, the way he delivered it, insane shit
he got rebuttal's and freestyles, so what if he uses more pre-meds than others, a lot of ppl use them

Wow. All these people saying he better step back in the ring in order to cement his legacy, and that he needs to do it in GT to be able to do so, lol. I would love to see Iron battle again as well, but its because he's an entertaining battler to listen to...not because he needs to prove anything. If dude doesn't want to battle anymore, he doesn't have to, simple as that.
He's easily one of the top 5-10 battlers ever IMO, and everybody saying, "sorry, he needs to prove it to ME by stepping back into the ring" is retarded. Some dudes aren't that concerned with battling anymore, he's already made his name very well known, what would be the point?

Yeah, I figure I should just say something condescending and not offer any actual opinion on this shit too.
The real point isn't that Solomon recycled or had premeds. The point is everyone, to some extent, had shit like that back in '05. Iron was just one of the first dudes in the freestyle circle to acknowledge he was writing his shit, and not give a fuck about it. When you look at GT and battling now, if you don't think that he was at least a little influential on bringing forward the extremely massive change in style and format that's pretty much commonplace now, you're a little nuts.
Iron's a legend. The end.
Oh, and Math ate him, but that's beside the point really.

Iron Solomon doesn't care about written raps or repeating lines as long as when the crowd goes home, they're repeating his.
