And for the record, the GTEC crowd is basically a SMACK crowd (especially at Bad Blood) and they seemed to have no problem reacting to the "non-street" mc's.

I'll be real with you all here. A lot of these cats just frown when they rap and scream. That shit ain't street. I grew up around the same kind of cats they idolize, have knocked muthafuckas out and am not a nerd rapper, yet because I got the sense of humor I'm not "street" enough to get in the ring and destroy their fucking face. Cats living backwards lives. You don't wear your toughness on your sleeve. That's real to me.
Oh, and you can trust 500% that I would do what I'm supposed to and obliterate shit in a battle with a "street" rapper.

I think some on this board are as confidently wrong about the inviability of most GT mc's in a Smack crowd as they are wrong about "crossover potential" and "mainstream appeal" in music.

If there's one thing I've noticed, it's that people who have lived a harder life tend to have a much better developed sense of humour; it's one of the few ways to constructively deal with the shit that you see on a daily basis. I've always been a firm believer that true comedy can only be born out of tragic circumstances.
"Classy" is on repeat though, that joint is fucking infectious....I need to get vaccinated just to listen to that sheeeit.

I think Lux would run through a lot of the GT cats...he got bars....sometimes the GT crowd reminds me of the 106th crowd when they laugh over corny shit....I guess I prefer the "whoooooos" over the "hahahahas"..

The moreI read about htese smack/grindtime dream matches, the more I want to see it take place.
Whats the likeliness that a year from now we can see a Grindtime slash Smack event that would feature something like 10 GT MCs vs. 10 Smack MCs.
That would be the greatest event in all battling.

the terms that get thrown around make me cringe, jesus..

Word up... Madness would have no problem battling a street head, I see that as an advantage to Mad cuz he can flip shit madd nasty on them!

Although I still think the SMACK brand and name still holds weight in the battle world, they know the deal about GT. They see we are makin noise all around the country with all these divisions, and they see the hits we are generating online.
SMACK wants to think they are in a league of their own, but in reality all their talent would love to be apart of our league as well. Hell alot of their talent already is in our league! lol

What GT needs to do is make sure they book Iron Solomon for a battle if/when he returns. I know its going to take a lot of working out on the money side, and since it probably won't be a GT head, but they have to get it done.
They can't let it slip like the Math/T-Rex thing. Whoever books a Solomon match first will have a gap on the other league (though I think GT has the lead right now).
BTW, Math keeps throwing around that he "fucks with GT". Will we see a Math battle in GT any time soon?
EDIT: On the Iron note, especially since GT got the interest of Jin back and he's hitting up GT b4 any other league...it would be the same good look.
