I need 1-10 (i was saying 1-5, but somebody sent me 10, so whatever, 10 is MAX) beats that you will allow to be circulated for free. You will retain ALL ownership in the beat(s) and you will have full rights to sell the beat(s) non-exclusive, exclusive, whatever, as no one that downloads these beats will own any rights to them. They will be allowed to use the beats for demos, website promo (i.e. myspace, soundclick, etc), free mixtapes (online and off), Live performances, and any other not-for-profit promotional medium. If any artists using the beat(s) wants to purchase rights to these beats, they will be able to contact the site for information, and emails will be forwarded to the producer for review. All artists will have to sign up to the sign (for free) in order to download, which will in turn create an email database which all producers involved will be able to utilize. Each producer will have allotted times for email blasts to the created mailing list. All the producer will have to do is send the email ad in text format to the assigned email address designated for this mailing list. I will compile them and send them out on a schedule (as to not overload anyones mailbox and get spam complaints). Each producer will have there website url added to the file name of the beat(s) they submit, so that each time someone downloads the beat(s) the url will be a part of deal. Also, each producer will have there respective url add the "Producers" section. Each month there will be a new "Featured Producer" in that section (my page will fill it the first month) including a pic and/or banner, short bio or ad write up submitted by the producer, and url link.
I plan to market the site on Google Adwords as much as budget allows, and I will be selling adspace to support the site as well. The monthly cost of site for me will be 19.95, but the site should create ad revenue to cover that, and the site should generate enough exposure and advertising for the producers to create more click throughs and more sales for each producer involved. I've done the research on how to market this already guys. I've put things in place to make this site successful. In other words, I've made all of the moves, taken all of the risks, made this very simple for everyone involved, in hopes of getting this to become an expanded network of artists and producers coming together to create a common market place for each entity to be successful.
Producers should get more sales, artists should get more beats at better prices, the underground/online hip hop/rap/r&b/pop market should get stronger and we should all make more money with very little effort.
*disclaimer: I'm not suggesting anyone will get rich from this, lol*
