i own the nord lead 3 and the nord electro2 rack.... love them both

v synth rack i love aswell...once you fiquire it out its a beast...

the nords are a good buy... they went for quality not quanity..

the Nords are supposed to be vicious
the Virus TI that creative mentioned is said to be amazing
the V Synth would be what I would go for but it takes a while to figure out

you might be able to get an xv5050 second hand off guitar center, theyll probably call around and find u one. If you dont dig that then check craigslist. aside from that the 2020 is good; however, if you plan on doing any real editing with it, youre gonna need to use your PC (it is USB in case u didnt know). theres an xv5050 at a music store in bmore and they want $599 for it. i played it for nearly an hour, i loved the thing and i think it will make a perfect compliment to my Motif ES rack. But anyway, if youre looking into getting rompler sounds not many other racks exist new in stores...developers seem to be moving toward the Soft Synth Market for that sorta thing. if youre into synthesizers check out the MS2000R or Poly Evolver R.

Well the vysnth was my first choice. But for 2gs I felt I could get more for my money. I was thinking about the korg radius. I've played wit it but havt talkied to anyone who owns it.

radius is a good buy to i was fukn wit it yesterday at southbeat jim jonsin got one..

look into the nord lead 2 $999 close to that price range.. and sounds are ill..
tho the radius got more of a rnb feel to it... i find myself prefering the nord

v synth is dope for rnb aswell tho... since i think i read you were on that vibe if im not mistaken...

i say buy em all the more the better... i got 15 different keyboards and racks and they all serve their purpose...

the v-synth is really dope too, damn thing is just way too much money, the voice expnasion bank has some really dope shit in it... we had a used one at work with that expansion bank that i would always come in and use in my beats on my day off...the radius is dope too, that was gonna be my next buy or maybe the juno G...

and in my opinion the v-synth stock sound arent that great, allthough u still have tons of control as far as making new presets/sounds. the sounds do tend to fit more of an rnb style, lot of pads and sweeps, and all that airy type of shit.
