this shit is raw. esp the sequence that takes place @ 2:20 or something. i don't know what all effects the dude uses to process his samples but that shit sounds lovely.
heard the dude uses fruityloops too..idk whether to believe that shit or not..
the samples in this shit sound similar too.. shit sounds extra gritty but still smooth as fuck at the same time...
i can tell its layered like a motherfucker tho...@2:30 shit sounds so clean..
the reason i like dubstep is because as a producer its hard not to appreciate how they piece these things together..
srkillex is one of if not the best at layering sounds ... but idk.. i don't liek the drum patterns he goes with on a lot of his shit...that joint he did with damien marley is sick tho...
i have noticed most of the shit i like as far as any electronic shit normally comes from the UK
ill post a mix of some of my electronic stuff on here at some point and time...
i just gotta get the compression down with so many layers of sound shit gets really muddy..
thats the hardest part of making electronic beats to me is getting the levels right.
I was just at a Datsik / Delta Heavy / Bare Noize concert a few weeks ago. Shit was crazy. Last week I went to Helicopter Showdown / J Rabbit / Sluggo. I'm thankful I'm not in Korea anymore and back in the DMV so I can go to all these shows.
