Don't wait for revolution, start redistributing wealth yourself!
In a local restaurant my server had on a “Obama 08″ tie, again I laughed as he had given away his political preference–just imagine the coincidence.
When the bill came I decided not to tip the server and explained to him that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept. He stood there in disbelief while I told him that I was going to redistribute his tip to someone who I deemed more in need–the homeless guy outside. The server angrily stormed from my sight.
I went outside, gave the homeless guy $10 and told him to thank the server inside as I’ve decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was grateful.
At the end of my rather unscientific redistribution experiment I realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn even though the actual recipient deserved money more.
I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical application.

You can create a story/metaphor to make any point you want without it having any real substance. For example, a rich CEO goes for a meal, and instead of giving a tip to the waiter or a tramp, he gives the money to his worker in the hopes that that money will eventually "trickle down" to the waiter... and, of course, that money never reaches the waiter.

lmao. as if a waiter has wealth! I'm sure myself and any waiter in this country would LOVE for people to take this redistribution into their own hands today. Just like a republican to try and make people think they have enough money to where voting republican actually benefits them
....wouldn't the majority of us on this board be on the receiving end of this wealth redistribution? yes! please start the redistributing today! loll

Sounds about right
good shit ghet, the bum is who we need to save. Not the dude wit the job already.
I always redistribute wealth to the homeless cuz I've been there and the generalization that they're drunkards or stupid is ridiculous.
Most homeless people will make you feel belittled with their plethora of knowledge.

Let ghet's vote tell it, he'd tip the guy who owns the complex the restaurant buys rent from, not the waitor...
And since when does ghet ever eat somewhere where there's a waitor? You wear borrowed clothes. I'm surprise the bum didn't give you money.
and lol @ "revolution". There goes another neo-con assuming the most extreme. Now we've backtracked from the Civil War to a Revolution...
Next, Obama's presidency will be a sign of genetic devolution.
Oh wait, they're already making shirts with a chimp on it calling it Obama.

Trickle down totally worked, btw.
The tax cuts loosened up money for the rich to then give jobs to the poor.
Overseas.
They left out that little stipulation, but it totally worked.

Nah. A good deal of obama's supposed 'tax cuts' are actually 'tax credits' as in he just gives people a handout and then calls it a tax cut. Something like 40% of american households already have an effective income tax rate of zero or lower(ie. they get more in existing tax credits than they pay in taxes).
Obama is just doing the typical in using government money to buy the votes of the feckless, the envious and the failures. He's just trying to wrap it up in tax cut language to try and make him sound less of a communist.
Personally I think he should have gone further and claimed he would boost private sector wealth redistribution by abolishing bloated beurocracies such as the department of justice and slashing needless red-tape like the constitution.

only problem is.........most of the rich didn't earn their money anyway........kills the analogy.....
a better analogy would be taking 10 bux from that waiters grandkid who inherited his grandfathers wealth
