journalism doesnt constitute opinion, most of these posted articles are proven fact generally of the horses mouth. but you are right, in a sense there are plenty of opinions dropped on here daily. so what makes someone good to represnt you? leadership potential or speaking capabilities?
off topic, youre far too slept on as an mc, but hell...that's just my opinion.

sin, i'm not even considering the blogger's opinion, my opinion is based on facts raised, ie:
his blatant lies, cheats, PLAGIARISM (who the hell does that?), shiftiness, policy conflicts, and other past actions...which generally cannot be fabricated. i just think many are voluntarily hoodwinked. don't get me started on palin and mccain, but honestly i think the lesser of two evils would have to be mccain, at least he's consistent.

Intelligence and reasoning is HIGHEST priority. A person can be brilliant but ignorant at the same time when they fail to listen and respond to others around them who know better. I think one of the greatest characteristics of Barack Obama is that he is not afraid to ask how to handle a situation from people who might be better positioned to make an informed judgment. Another young republican i have seen this from is Bobby Jindal.
Patience and poise: No erradic decision making. No being pressured into going one way or another until that leader has thought about the course of action, weighed the consequences, and made a thoughtfull decision.
Honesty and sincerity in making promises.
I can tell when people have good intentions, no intentions or bad intentions.
Barack Obama is a person who i think believes in what he says he wants to do. He is a person who i believe will give his full effort to make good on his promises. If he cant, he will say he cant once he comes to the realization that he has hit that barrier.
Willingness to try new things. Fresh ideas. Obama's campaign has completely changed the political game. It has been just brilliant.
Ability to inspire and influence others instead of manipulate under false pretenses. We see the ineffectiveness of the now lame duck George W. Bush to influence his own party, and to inspire the people in the united states. Without the ability to inspire and influence a leader is powerless. In the Bush administration, if they couldnt get others on board, they would just act anyway, manipulating the facts in order to provide cover. Obama is a leader who can put something unpopular but in the interests of the US before the people, or even go before other world leaders, and build the support and confidence he needs to move foward unified. He doesnt have a divisive nature.

i totally agree with you, war. here's my thing though, will baracks great intensions get f'ed up by someone who may be blatantly lying to his face and has lied to so many of us for over a quarter century? of course maybe biden is on the straight and narrow, but i highly doubt it considering his previous 30 years of service. My main thing was, how can barrack, the new leader of the free world for all intensive purposes fall for someone's political jux's ie: biden? get where i'm going with this. i really just hope that obama knows something we don't know, because currently I'm viewing him as a poor judge of character, which is a sad quality to have as a leader/politician. people know the deal with biden, which is why in the DNC he was one of the first to go. the way i see it, if he was what he's cracked up to be, the team would have my vote, but biden is heavily untrustworthy. there's a difference between manipulation to promote patriotism, and just plain lying.
