GRB 2005 Rules - Round 1

- First round Audios are DUE Monday Night June 20th at 11.59 pm cst.
- Theme: up to 2-3+ Minutes must be about your opponent(s)
- You must mention their BOARD name(s). Must be atleast 2 minutes.
- If audio is not two minutes, you must contest it if you want a DQ.
- One mp3 File Must Be posted Monday Night June 20th at 11.59 pm cst.
- We will not store any audio files.
- YOU MUST post using your board name that is registered to the match. Others will be DQ'ed.
- Voting for First Round will start once all verses are up.
- Voting links will be posted and votes will be shown.
- If you No Show (thanks for the money), you will not be able to vote in the next rounds.
- No Comments allowed on battle post until voting links are posted.

RICO-
intro would've been more effective if ur verse wasnt so long lol. real confident tho. the way u came in was pretty monotone... for an intro it sounded ok cuz the line u spit when the beat dropped was hot but u didnt get any more hype n that's what i was expecting. ur delivery is pretty weak, not ur strong point, ur flow on the other hand is pretty tight compared to ur delivery. u had a few lines that stood out. army lines, pedro, etc. when the beat switched i was a little thrown off cuz it sounded just like the first one to me. lol. better lines here... acne given to chinese was real simple but it made me laugh i liked it. got ur mic from chuckie cheese i liked that too.

i'm a be real... this wasnt a strong audio, but i think it's mostly due to experience. if i'm right u havent been doing this long, i can tell cuz in these tournaments there's always diff levels of competition. for the level ur at, ur track was pretty good, but put u up against a dzk, nimrod, parker, cire, etc. n it's like *****s n oranges.

u dont have a bad track. just a really inexperienced one. practice more.


mAyHeM pArAdOx-
real grimey voice right off the bat. "fuckin rico" lmao that made me laugh. much cleaner vocals than rico. real horrorcore with ur shit. give ur style back to necro pal! flow is pretty clean, as good or better than rico's. definitely more experienced, lines are there, not as many stood out to me as rico but ur shit was a lot more aggressive. i heard a few punchins but couldnt point out any doubles, some extra layers for emphasis might make ur lines stand out more. the breaks in the verse were a good touch.

as far as styles go i'm more in tune with rico, beats/etc i'd def go with rico.

rico had more witty lines that stood out in my opinion but dox wasn't slackin. i hated dox' beat but dox definitely got this just based off experience.

decent showing... whoever makes it into rd 2 is gonna have to step their game up.

i think paradox was real raw...and had some dope lines and a nice delivery...i enjoyed him

rico...just kinda boring...too laid back...i mean...nothing sounded like you meant it...just your cadence made even the lines that could have had some sting sound like youre just reading off paper...youre not bad...you just dont have a style that grabs the listener....

mayhem - ali shape ups....mostly illlkillyoulines...some bad punchlines... but you put your emotion into this... and besides the punching in your flow was good as you went through... i also like your emcee name- though that adds ntohing to my vote...

rico- fagboys...lkol at wargasms not realizing it...flow is nice on more than mayhem...its like your rambling on though.... booo, on the next beatg you brought less power man... less everything...pretty much took yourself down at the end..

comes down to this------ you clowned yourself on the beat flip rico would have had it otherwise... mayhems verse was consistent... ricos was too until next beat..

both came ight, i liked ya delivery and all paradox but ya lines was lackin you didnt have much that hit all that hard, general or personal, rico picked more of a slow beat but he held it down ight, the eject no respect was good, the way he deliverin some his ish over this beat is nice, actually had some lines but again you was lackin in that department to, it really was kinda close, you just stood out more with some lines, had a better flow, somewhat better delivery, so it was just more entertaining to which helped wrap it up

Paradox's was more battle-oriented...dude sounds grimey as hell...neither had many lines...i liked Rico's laid-back approach...come off pretty cocky..that's good, but both sound inexperienced, neither was horrible though...this was a good matchup for the first round...but as Price said, both gonna have step it up big time next round...
