help around the house

There is this show called ' mums on strike' where basically the women go away to these luxurious hotels and leave their husband to do everything around the house to make them appreciate how much the women do. Often the men who take part are old fashioned guys who never lift a finger around the house and think 'rightly so'. But when these women watch the men trying to do things, whether it be, cooking, cleaning, shopping, etc they cannot help but turn the men into lower lifeforms of domesticity. They mock their abilty to do anything, as if they are helpless beings and quickly take the role of a mother to the father and find the thing quite hillarious. This one guy was really struggling to feed the baby and feed him self at the same time.lol It was like he completely lacked the coordination and multi-tasking skill and the woman was obviously revelling in it.

I think sometimes when men put in the effort, the women just watch over them like mothers waiting to undo the damage which they do by trying to help. No wonder men say 'she does it best, i'll let her get on with it' and often the women agree. If women want the men to help more, maybe they shouldnt complain that they don't do enough, and then the minute they do, turn around and criticise them for trying.
