Ok, so I'm just wondering...

the majority of...

....people you call your friends and are close to... are they people who you grew up with? Or are they family/related? or are they people you knew from school? Or friends you just made by living ya life.... like meeting people playin ball or at the gym or at work or at a club(huh?) or some other shit?

myself...

I had a good amount of friends i grew up with and then they all sort of went away during my early teens.... and i dont have ANY male cousins or brothers that live near me or that i have ever been tight with... with the exception of my brother who's been locked up for 4 years and is still locked...

friends I had in school... I kind of did them wrong my senior year of HS and I stopped kickin it with them when I got involved in a serious relationship with a girl and her and her brothers and family became the people i spent most of my time with....


so now, i have a stable of newer friends that I havent known for more then a year or two.... and I still kick it with my ex's brothers for the time being....


it's kind of hard not having people around you that have known you for a long time. but, thats the way I live my life... I'm probably not the best friend to have because I will choose to better my life over keeping a friend....


so what about ya'll....

when i was small there was about 10 of us kids, some moved, some stopped hanging so much, now its 8 of us, 3 from the original 10 or so who i chill with

at school i only have 1 real good friend, some others im pretty cool with, and then a ton of kids i just hang out with for a lil while daily, i was real cool with my ex, still am kinda cool with her, and i chill with her brother sometimes

I got 3 homies I trust with my life. Everyone else is an acquaintance. Pretty much that way since 6th grade except it was like 7 or 8 before, but some of them sold out. one moved out of town with his girl, the other got all doped up, etc.

You get friends just going places, people try to kick it with u and eventually you trade numbers, but they never really get implemented into your life like a n1gga you grew up with

I had some people I was cool with during grade school but I moved away to go to high school and stopped having all contact with most people from grade school... outside my girl at the time, but when me and here were through at the beginning of high school that was it.

After that, I met my main, true homies in first/second year of high school. I spent my first 4 years with them, being in their classes every single year but then moved away for my senior year...... that was a major ass bitch.

But I still keep in touch with them all the time.. Shit I was down there this weekend for one of my homie's surprise party. They all in college now while I got fucked in my senior year in my new city but starting August we all gonna be kicking it in the same dorm room.

As far as my new city, I haven't met anyone really outside 2-3 people that I kick it with them on occasion. The rest can all go fuck themselves real quick.
