Have you been talking with people on the net and your partner does not like it too much and feels neglected? what about being been left in bed alone till the early hours cus they stay up all night, or to watch movies on your own because your partner is chatting on the net with people? What about cheating? say if you and your partner have screenames on a board like this and one of them flirts with another member by changing their custom text etc, is it just a bit of fun, or does it equate to cheating? If your guy is up all night 'just chatting' on aim to people is that cool? I'm just wondering if the internet can get that serious, or people actually have a point when they say ' its just the internet, chill out' . But where do you draw the line in a world that is a virtual adaptation of reality? The communication with the person is still real, something is still real. So should people keep their internet time in check? in perspective? stop going on it if their partner feels left in the cold?...Drop your thoughts, ladies..:-)

I've heard cases where ppl have split/divorced because of the internet. I personally don't think it would happen in my relationship. Yes I feel I've formed close relationships with some ppl. But that's as far as it goes. Doesn't get on any other level. I don't understand HOW or WHY ppl cheat with someone they've never met or even know really. Seems silly to me.

So I don't think the Mr. has anything to worry about and I think he knows that. Other wise he'd prolly mention something to me and he never has. :o)

Ok, let's look at this from all angles gathered into one thought.

1. If you use the internet, and the internet is just a faceless conversation with live people, expressing real emotions and thoughts, and you "flirt" then there MUST have been some feeling behind that flirt, so yes, in a sense it is cheating.

2. If any of my bitches ever avoided time with me, to sit and type on the computer, I'd kick the bitch out the car doin 60, TUCK AND ROLL BITCH!

3. WHY in the FUCK would ANYONE want to spend time online, rather than be with there significant other?

4. I don't use the internet for anything other than business, or music help at this point.

There's been times when we both get wrapped up in something we're doing....If I ever feel neglected I say something...If he were to feel neglected he needs to be like..get over here woman and pay me some attention

Someday I would like to live without any technology in my house and see how that would be. Heck..I'd even probably be bored senseless though.

I would only be concerned if we stopped going out together and doing things together b/c the computer..or tv..or playstation or something took priority over time shared together.

sometimes he mention it if it's the first thing i do when i get home.he would say "you haven't been home 2 seconds yet and you already on the computer"..that's when he starts watching japanese cartoons that im in not into that much.he's starting to get used to it now though.

yeah at times we get into it, but during the week it's something that i do..he works 2 jobs ,i only work one..we don't see eachother during the week on the weekends we do, at times either spend time at home or me doing my shopping here and there,then go back to his house ..but i dont approach him like "oh you only want to see me when you get horny,or we don't spend time together". i already know when i get in my moods and that usually late at night with him..i guess that's something i may have to work on.we talked about it before though.

But at the moment i need to be online cos msn and phone are the only way i cantalk to my man everyday, hes living away, if he was here i wouldnt bother with it much, gives me a damn headache anyways and he knows the score as far as Online gaming goes :P Ill only say "baby im going bed once" haha actully i kinda like playing the games 2 lol oh well

It was wack as hell. My homie used to play this game a little on the net, nothing big... But one day his girl was like "Ooo can I try it?"

Okay so THIS happened. They lived together right? She met a guy IN the game... He flirted and next thing you know she plays the game like 24/7 with this guy. He lived like 2000 miles away from her but next thing you know, he's her "internet bf". I was like WTF!? But it didn't stop there... Next thing you know they get in an argument and my boy and her break up because she wants to keep her internet boyfriend. how fuckin scandalous is that?
