why do people from the ends seem to get taken more serious?

people seem to be more intrigued by that stance, its more rough, its more cool i guess. So where does a rapper stand who has never been a bad boy, will he change to fit in and be cool? why do we encourage violence and say its great to be martyrs because you get more respect?

One act you need to look at if you're getting fed up of this, Blood & Jonez, got shit loads of potential, philisophical/political type stuff, inspirational shit, look for the album dropping around Christmas.

And I guess mans from the ends just have more talent?
