obviously you don't know what your talking about there... there's a difference between having a smooth sounding voice and an accent... from what you saying... every time a person says "yeah" or "yo" they are putting on an american accent...or any japanese/english word that they rap in a smooth tone... lol... a perfect example of folks trying to sound american and being "fake" is "big brovaz" but i wouldn't class that as hip hop... i chose them as an example because they are known in the uk generally and have dudes rapping with a sure fire "put on" accent and can almost convince you they sound american...

i see you agree on something here... but contradict yourself with your argument over the fact that in your opinion the japanese are trying to sound american... when obviously you don't see that when a person speaks english... the words they have to learn are from somewhere... and will have to use intonation in thier own voice in order to make the word sound... hence why people have accents in the first place... and as you can hear in everything rhymed it has a japanese overtone to every english word...

like many folks that present themselves here on rapmusic right? lmao... kinda reminds me of the influence over the past 10 years that the tv soap eastenders in the south east of england has... folks just picked up that accent even though thier not from london... or even the east end of london... the "cockney" accent but without the rhyming slang... so their accents must be fake right? plus the actors when off screen are well spoken... eg. if you watch the news in london they speak well... but many people hardly watch the news enough to absorb that... lol
with your view on accents the whole world is fake... simply cause these people are making thier best efforts to utter english words... the only way you would probably not comment on the fake issue is if they were stumbling very badly trying to make the words understandable in english...
you just have a problem with music you don't like cause of superficial things regarding this thread... these folks are not focused at being fake... unlike those in mainstream pop culture... wannabe rappers who just copy the latest style/flow/lyrical content/behaviour to be with the in crowd at the time... not individual at all... which again is another ironic flaw in contrast to your individualism comment...
maybe your ear isn't as tuned for hip hop as it should be...DIVERSE... you're probably just one of those folks which are known as "heads" dedicated to how they think hip hop SHOULD sound/be... a RESTRICTIVE form of generic flows/subject matter/fashion statements etc... and don't like things to grow and build...
as hip hop is diverse... anything less than that is what i would call wack...
call me whatever you like... you can be the judge of that...
