Ok People. My Apologies for last weeks Tribune not being posted up. The people I had set for articles were unable to get them done in time. And with the limited time I have for availability I was unable myself to do the Tribune. But we are back this week with everything up to speed and ready to go. Seems the Tribune is gathering quite a following of people. Well as much as I hate to say it, there is no interview this week. ILLWeeMan was set to do one with Author NYSE or InsaneVillian but both were unavailable for comments. Seems there too good to share their thought and feelings with the rest of us. But here we go people, the Tribune is set to take the stage and ready to garnish you with things you have awaited to see.

I MUST RETURN. Yeah, I know it sounds a bit "Tekish", but I have a new found
determination. As I'm sure most of you already know, I just finished my
first week of a two week suspension that was handed to me due to a no-show
situation. But I'm not gonna get into that right now. But this has showed me
a whole lot. I know its only the internet, and its only text and blah blah
blah, but I'm determined to atleast make it to the Championship Match. I was
sooo damn close too, lol. I was only one match away from the No. 1
Contender's Match. And for this reason...I will return after next week with
a passion. I have something to prove, and I will prove myself. Doubt me,
don't doubt me...whatever, I'm on some Shock shit now . Keep your eyes out
for ol' Konny. 'Cause I'm about to do big things in the league. I know that
I will have dropped out of the Top 10 when I sign back in. But, I'll be back
very soon. And I'll be back with a purpose. Just wait. God Bless and good

RSTL Top Performers Of 2003...

Let us take ourselves to this thread and see just how selfish the man is.

1. WWIII has not been on the RSTL long enough to be considered as the top of 2003. Being that this is the one person IV rides so much from personal views, he feels that this top 10 list he's created is something that shuld be considered an official countdown.
2. To en garde his character, he places himself near the top amongst the one sole person he's had a beef with. Already admitting in the post that he is biased, the credibility of this list alone shows that this should not be considered stuck or used as a tool of viewing.
3. OMEN at #3 is just a way of boosting morale to the moderator of the way the RSTL is functioning to uplift hype and publicity to get people to join the league... basically he uses his own decision of knowing that OMEN is a great storyteller but that he's good enough to be mentioned for people to see and join the league.
4. As much as I am in disbelief that TEKNEEK made this list, the fact that 3 names placed in #10 shows that he needed room to insure satisfaction to those people that looked up to him so that he wouldn't forget them as being top notch writers. This move would justify his name to be placed at #2 amongst JOWELZ as being best showing both bias thoughts and selfishness of insurance that he reigns. The fact that he's been riding TEKNEEK's coatttails throughout the years in RMC is alone proof that none of the folks ranked 9 and 10 were not be excluded only to show his compassion for respect.. or so it seems.
5. In the replies he forgets VERN ACULAR and egotizes himself more by placing him near his range or beneath... how selfish can you be?
6. The worst of all is that he includes WWIII but excludes INFINITE TRUTH in the list. INFINITE TRUTH is one of the greatest amongst JOWELZ, PERIL and WWIII... and seeing that many (including myself) have slept on him... he still brings enough to the table to take out 3/4 of the people in the RSTL today and IV completely disregards of him in remembrance seeing that he replies in VERN ACULAR's honor and not INFINITE TRUTH.
In conclusion, IV has adjusted himself as a person and has gotten his successes to his head. He is feisty in his accomplishments and wants the people to know about what he's done. While he does talk the talk... his ability to walk the walk may be in deep question... considering the many notable exploits he's brought in the eyes of many.... but then again... that's what IV has changed into..
a selfish competitor.

Yeah..He did a good job of showing his frustation. Thus, he barely merges his way intothe top 10 verses. Ohh yeah..hes still undefeated folks.

Throwing emotion in his piece “picture on the wall” it really showed his very poet like style. I enjoyed it and I can see that he must of put a lot of time and effort to make such a beautiful piece of this topic.

7) VernAcular
Here’s a guy who has done it all in the RSTL, and his verse showed why he is on of the biggest guns in the leagues. Throw out his wholeverse you can just share with him and his frustration. Even in the beginning it shows you the life of a person on edge. “biting my nails, ready to rip the hair from my head gripping the covers so tight I might tear up my bed”

He showsyou a very depressed look, as he “gives up” and makes it seem as though he’snothing special for going out. “cats are GIVING UP all the time”

5) Cigma
Changing Times.
Cigma goes to another level withthis poetic style verse. He drifts off and shows you the emotions of what isgoing on. It shows how his deepest love turned into one of his most haunting feelings.

4) JOWELZ
The goat, who has been every place in the RSTL, laid out an almost flawless verse.He showed the crookedness of American politics and how the president got his position by molesting the system and stepping on his people. Very nicely put together.

3)DahLohner
Another RSTL vet in his verse about Loyalty. Multis/structure/vocab/plot/story=illness.
He just did the whole verse constantly on fire, he showed his power of storytelling with an iron fist. He went into great detail and thus this is why he is a RSTL great.


2) Author Nyse
He defended his titles glory, and came out extremely nyse.Even though this verse didn’t overtake IV’s, it still had a championship ring to it. Writing about a friend he went into detail about their relationship that sucked you into it, at the very beginning. “We were inseparable, I felt like we were two sides of abrain”. It showed later that they were in fact in love, and she would perish.It was very deep and it moves your soul.

1) I V
The new champ stretched his imagination and got in fullarmor for this weeks title match. With three parts in his epic story of a prodigal son,(Prison, Fate, Armageddon) he described from being an outcast to selling hissoul to the devil so he could get revenge at the world who forsake him. The plot ended with a very jaw dropping twist.This man, was indeed the emperor of evil, Adolf Hitler who happened to find God.

7 Vern Acular 29-7 vs. 8 Cigma 17-5 vs. 9 AweDishin 30-12
3 of the few nicest heads in the league stand off in the battle of week in
many opinions, in which all 3 emcees came top parr in this month's Topic
Week. Vern, showing great imagery, perfected flow, and a well thought out
verse, posted first in what seemed to be an un-beatable verse, was defeated
by Cigma's verse. Athough it wasn't easy, Cigma came into the battle and
posted a poetic felt verse with great emotion, and unstopable imagery. Mac
as well came top parr, in what seemed to be the best verse he has ever
posted in RSTL history, showing a stand out of imagery and emotion.
Overall, this was a great battle. You all deserve some cookies and
chocolate milk.

5 Poetiquette 18-5 vs. 6 Manic D
Although Poetiquette won in a landslide KO victory, Manic D came in posting
first, with a verse containing alot of comedic references. Wasn't too long
of a piece in which it gave him the loss. Many thought his verse wasn't
thought out enough for an RSTL battle with Poetiquette. Poetiquette came in
with a great flow, poetic feel to his verse, imagery, everything needed for
a successful verse in topic week. Good job guys.

RSTL #1 ContenderShip Match: 3 DahLohner 28-10 vs. 4 Jowelz 48-10
Jowelz wants the title for the 6th time, and he knew nothing was going to
stop him. Posting very early, he came with the topic "American Politics"
and submitted a well thought-out verse with emotion, perfected flow and
structure, and some facts to make his story have more of an impact.
DahLohner posted a well thought-out verse as well, but many thought
DahLohner won this matchup with his emotion. Going on to face next week's
Champion is DahLohner. Can he be a 2x Champ? We'll see..

RSTL Championship Match: 1 Author NYSE 12-0 vs. 2 InsaneVillian 24-5
Author NYSE, thought alias by many in and out of the RSTL, has had a run of
12 without any losses, and hoped to keep it up this week, but soon figured
out he lost the match, and the title to one of the greatest writers in the
RSTL, InsaneVillian. IV, posting first came with a verse filled with
emotion and imagery, storyline, and a great flow and structure to go with
it. He knew he must win the championship again to become a 2x Winner, and
he did just that. It wasn't easy. NYSE posted a verse he thought would be
inperishable, and it almost was. He showed flow, emotion, imagery, the
works. He had it all. During the battle, the votes were going back and
forth. And it was an eye popping battle, but in the end, IV came out on
top. Great battle to the both of you. This is one for the ages.

Note - There is no #10 Slot in this week's matches due to the fact of
a Triple Threat Match. Thank You

IV VS. DAHLOHNER
WHAT YOU DON’T KNOW

The RSTL has had many great head-to-head matches in the past... matches that have made people pumped, excited, gasping and riled up. But as many newbies don't know about this week's title match, the two competitors you are about to look at have a history dated from years ago.
Insanevillian and Dahlohner are two true veterans of RMC and have through the years gained notoriety for their positive personalities and their supportive demeanors of their peers here in the site. The 1st well-known confrontation with these both came in the form of the RWF (Rapmusic Wrestling Federation) in the storytelling division where both cats utilized their skills confronting each other number of times only to find a win given to both in a 2 match bout with each other. Even in the battling aspect, both IV and DL have gone jaw to jaw in the lightweight division which have led to I-win-I-win-it-back matches and have long been forgotten with their own paths in the site.
A year ago, that rematch came in the form of a RSTL bout... DL vs IV once more. But the masses were utterly disappointed to find a no-show occur between these two.
And with many months gone by... champions being crowned... both IV and DL were lost amongst their own paths with problematic confrontations in the league. But as the dust cleared and the smoke was settled, we find ourselves in the title match once more... a more coveted and more prestigious meetup, DL vs IV 2.... this time for the title.
From a personal view, I have the biggest respect for these two as fierce competitors. But with the months gone by, a lot has changed between these two cats. IV's constant willingness to help MOD and to make his name known in RMC has increased in popularity from the time when vets and heavyweights began to leave RMC. His chance and coming of age started soon as the dissipation of notable cats and has placed himself in RMC as one of the most popular. DL on the other hand was the sleeper, the undercover creeper. He made noise through scarce presence on the message boards but invigorating pieces in rhyme in the RSTL. Most noticeably, both had their beef with JOWELZ, and have long been through ruckus to push themselves in the spotlight in the league to become names of watch.
Both are possessive of great writing skills, and in my opinion, they both equate with different unique styles.. however, with an articulate style of their own. Both have had their share of championship in the league and are well-knowing of what to expect considering their respective records and experience in the RSTL. DL recently has in my opinion been screwjobbed of his matches and has been shot out of the limelight due to his magnificent writing as IV's hype and noise and popularity has allowed many to boost him at the top... and while both are favorites of mine... DL needs to gain this win for many reasons.
1. IV has steadily changed in persona from a humble-quiet minded individual to a rather arrogant, self-boastin' storyteller... who's had his successes get to his head. Not to pinpoint that this is what shows any negative sense about him, but that he's seemingly changed.. maybe for the worst.
2. DL is deservingly a champion... takes the losses like a true competitor and takes the wins like a true competitor. If comparing both personalities... DL should receive more limelight presence amongst the peers. If any praises are given to DL on the quiet... then those who appreciate his style need to voice it out.
3. IV has gotten too much in the head. While he backs up what he boasts... his selfish demeanor brings out a change in him that's made colors of respect morph into blands of putrid displays of arrogance. And while being a champion is part due to characterizing an arrogant attitude... IV is doing much too much of yapping and less of doing.
From an obvious standpoint, you would figure me to favor and to ride and sway DL in this article. I say I'm telling it like how I see it. IV has gotten the gold, but his declaration of beating PERIL-EYES' record of 5 successful title defenses in the RSTL is premature... and seeing that he continues to boast before he inputs... we may see the rise and fall of IV faster than you can say " .....".
Aside that, the match is a great one. Both are equal in skill, and different in style... and this would be considered the voters paradise for distinguishing who the true winner is. Two different personas clashing... reminded of LEWIS and ALI... who is the better man? --- Who will walk away the belt?
Ask me and I'll tell you DL puts IV in the DL.

Thanks to all those who contributed. Its always greatly appreciated and always a pleasure to work with each and everyone of you. The RSTL is back with fierce competition and amazing matches happening each and every week. Seems more and more talent arises in the ranks each week. Seems TekNeeks motto of “I MUST WIN” is becoming somewhat of a commodity here in the RSTL. But does everyone who states it have what it takes to accomplish what its creator did. We will have to wait and see as time passes by.
