- Verses will be due Friday (6-27-03) before midnight.

- battle verses will be 10 bars, no more no less... 1 bar under or over the limit will activate a DQ.

DS - wasn't a real strong verse. flow wasn't there all the time, and some disses weren't as hard hitting as expected...i didn't like how you did that abb style, or whatever they call it. stick to ab ab ab shit .. normal shit...haha

Shock - had some decent disses, but it was very comedic. opener was nice btw, and that kaleef line had me laughing..overall, not bad man..

eh...that's material i thought was pretty coo...um after that, kind of got shaky. Road to success lines don't impress unless they flipped mad nice, closer was mediocre.

Close match up, peepworthy I'd say. Both had a few lines, DS prolly had punch of the battle, shock had the personal advantage IMO.

Uh...hard to call for me, I'm gonna vote on this one 'cause it's the best battle in this tourney I seen so far...an' well, I'm gonna give the nod to Drinking Sucks by a bit here. Close match.

i didnt like how u opened up the rhyme but the flow and the punches were cool after the first two lines...I liked how the verse was set-up...had some creativity...nice verse..

Better verse, both had different styles that both worked, shock I felt had more hard hitting punches that connected more so then DS's shit. nice battle but shock got this win...not easily though.

DS-u had a pretty good verse....some pretty funny punches, and a nice flow

Shock-nice verse, some funny punches, and also a good flow...

this was a really close battle, but shock edged it out with his punches...
